I have written and called, yet nothing. It remains for me to go to British High commission to beg them to release my passport. I’m really at a loss, no call for interview nothing.

Yes in 2016 visit visa and I wasn’t given cause large funds were deposited in my account

I don't know the whole context around the questions you are asking, so it's a bit difficult to say yes or no.

Do you have your CAS already? Are you bidding time for PoF? Is this 27th of September deadline for Enrolment in the course?
The 6th of September is in a few days. If that's the date on your CAS as start date and you may not meet up with visa application, it's better you let your school's International Compliance and Admission Team know, they may decide to issue you a CAS with a late course start date, or they may ask you to go ahead with you visa application.

I totally agree with you. Context is important for one to answer correctly.







He can get clarity on all his concerns directly from the school not here. That 27th September date is ambiguous and does not indicate if it is the latest date for enrolment, registration or arrival at school/in the UK. The date on CAS statement may be different from the actual date of last registration and arrival.

I was able to do the TB test at IOM Abuja in Tuesday afternoon traveling to Abuja and doing manual booking on Monday afternoon.
As for payment, we went to the bank to make payment in Abuja (Standard Chartered) but we were told IOM no longer take bank deposits.
We finally did online transfer, paid for individual family members separately by including each person's reference number in the remarks part of the transaction. (Use internet banking or mobile app for this as you may not be able to do it using mobile code transfer)
After successful payment for each family members, just print out your receipt and take to the test centre on the day of the test.

This type of thing was happening to my son until I told him to go mad with them. He wrote direct to the equivalent of the VC and copied the "come today, come tomorrow gang" and by the next day it was fully resolved with apologies tendered to him.
It is not a weapon you use all the time but when there's absolutely nothing else left to do, you can resort to extreme escalation. In his case, everything was ready, including money, and CAS was pending for no reason at all. He made innumerable international calls and at a point they could recognise his voice and will even exchange banters with him but kept wasting time. The speed with which it was resolved baffled us all.
