HMS Nigeria was Destroyer crewed by a mix of British & Nigerian which participated extensively in World War II.

The second in command retarded irredeemable and lowest IQ Kabe1 in his zeal to quickly offer a response to the writing I posted above in his usual buffoonery and tardyness rapidly mention HMS NIGERIA

A British warship with no relationships whatsoever with the discussion at hand. This yet again is another clear example that uninformed anomalies like him are just only useful for posting hilux pictures and ak-47 to suit his nonexistent intellectual capacity.

Nigeria fought in WWI under what flag? The green white green. Was Nigeria existing during WWI or even WWII.

It's funny how helplessly retardedly slow people like you miss the simple point entirely and head in a different trajectory, most time in the wrong direction.

Fvck off my mentions you bloody fool!!

Just continue copying my post and posting it in that your shitty blog.

Typical of an unredeemable zero mental thinking capacity. Kabe1 why did you disgrace your the little regard we all have in you by mentioning a totally British warship that have zero relationship with the topic at hand which is Nigeria VS South Africa in a one on one battle.

Kabe1 why?

We know you're terribly dull but this is a record low level never before reached by dull@rds in the history of your kind.

Mentioning a British warship in Africa matters. Well I'm sorry for bringing such embarrassment to you. Now everybody have fully witnessed your certified stupid1dy and an insult to humankind. Sorry bro. Take heart. cheesy grin grin

My deepest heart felt sincere apology to GeneralFarouq kabe1 and Covert1 for using vulgar words on them.

Please accept my sincere apologies.

I only wanted to demonstrate that nobody actually have monopoly of knowledge and insult. Anybody can do it. Its was all in good interest because I noticed some people were being picked on.

In any case, I'm really sorry. Kindly accept my apologies.

Really bro!

The discussion was about capabilities and not socio-politics. people like you find it hard to discuss on a single topic without jumping left and right like a wounded kangaroo.

How did military capabilities change to socio-political landscaping?

Anyway, just die it except You want some sauce too for your white rice?

when Nigeria was still under British slavery
You listed different South Africa achievement, but this achievement was not under a independent South Africa or under the leadership of Black South Africans undecided This was under Apartheid South Africa

I consider this topic done and dusted please don't drag me backwards.

First of all. South Africa is South Africa and any achievement is attributed to the country irrespective of who is ruling. Meanwhile, Nigeria was not yet existing at the time those lofty achievements was attained.

Secondly, those apartheid rulers are still South African citizens.

Apartheid, although wrong and detestful is basically a section of the country (white) ruling another section (blacks.)

For example, using Nigeria as an example, the fulanis deciding to rule Nigeria indefinitely because they feel that they are superior. In the eyes of the world, its still Nigerians ruling Nigerians and any achievement is accorded to Nigeria.

Which basically is a socio-political affair and not military in nature Therefore it has no stance in the aforementioned discussion.

Regardless of whatever political system, fact is that South Africa stopped being a colony and got its independence from Great Britain in 1910. Just because the majority -of which I'm part - was disenfranchised on racial grounds, doesn't change that fact. It's like arguing that the US wasn't independent until 1920, when the majority -women- finally got the vote.

Therein ends the history lesson for the day.

Perfect! S.A got her independence 40 years before Nigeria. They went to war in 1914 (WWI). So they have a lot of experience in fighting. That's why when I see some people ignorantly comparing S.A with Nigeria its not just balanced.

By the way, argument aside, South Africa is a great country, yes they do have their annoying flaws but they great. Nigeria too is great and yes Nigeria have its own annoying flaws.

But Two great countries side by side taking Africa to greater heights. This narrative is far more better than the stupid Nigeria vs S.A that some people don't want to rest. Haba!

Is it by force to compare??

The key point there is Battle Experience which you predictably missed as usual because comprehension is difficult for some.

Those hard-worn lessons which they lernt with their blood when Nigeria was still user slavery are written down in their order of battle and implemented in their training doctrine for future soldiers to learn from.

Chief! I'm sure you do know the history of Ethiopia and Tygray and Eritrea

The trio are battle hardened side by side. They've fought countless wars.

The Tygray war is as complex as it gets. Reminds me of the popular saying "they Eriteans know how to dig trenches well, but we too know well how to bury them in it."

That popular quote originated in that region.

Apparently, you don't understand what a republic means.

Slowly the topic have moved from military capability to socio-politics.

I don't talk that way. Because socio-political dynamics adds a more complex layer to this discussion. Before you know it we'll enter economics, diplomacy, and them religion.

Focus on the military aspect.

Now you're being ridiculous. This "missing detail" you mention is like you saying "Nigeria got independence in October 1960". Then I jump in and say, "But you only became a republic in October 1963. Nonsensical, no?

Wow! Well personally I humbly disagree. Tanks, rockets, trenches, assault rifles, combined arms maneuver, dive bombing, helmet, etc etc

These are strategies and technologies formulated in since WWI, and they're still being used robustly today.

Nigerian army that we so loved is still digging trenches today.

Trench warfare began before WWI.

Baba reason am na

SADF as a case study didn't rack up a fearsome reputation by fighting like a WW2 force.

Most of these things are basically aesthetics. SADC, SANDF and any other acronyms are still the same people south Africans. The same map. The same terrain. The same equipment.

So who will you attribute those exploited too? United states? Or maybe Japan.

The lessons learned by the SADC are serving the SANDF today. It is that simple.

Most people here thinks that....

For instance, because we have two OPVs, and south Africa have four Frigates. And maybe their frigates is not well maintained then automatically we'll win them in a war.

These set of people forget that before we became a country they've been sinking ships. That sort of experience you don't buy it with money or technology.

You pay with blood, and sweat and grit.

There are things south African military knows that nobody can ever teach us only experience. A single strange trick from them could end the war in their favour before we even begin.

*face palm*

I don't know where your steering is directed at but I am saying it again that ancient warfare doesn't really count in modern times making an example of how different the WW South Africa fought in is very different from how they fought in The Bush War
