What evidence can I add to support a mail to IRCC showing I have started classes online?

Or can one continue with the online class pending when visa comes out?

But why will the labour holiday in Canada affect the processing office in Nairobi or elsewhere?

Because the people in Nairobi work for the Canadian government and not the keyan government

Good morning everyone,

I would be grateful if anyone could assist with my query - I applied for a study permit in the middle of May but my application was made using the regular process and not the Nigerian Student Express. My account statement was submitted at the time of my application but I want to confirm if IRCC would at any stage still request for another bank account statement from me.

I want to withdraw my money from my account and purchase dollars to protect it against devaluation. I require this confirmation because I don't want a situation where IRCC will request my bank statement again and I will not have money in it anymore.

I look forward to receiving a response.

Friday September 03, I arrived at the airport around 4:30pm for a 10:55 PM flight. My parents insisted that we leave home early especially because it was raining and Lagos traffic is unpredictable. They were right.

The queue was long. I was approached by a British Airways official and he asked if I have the passenger locator form with me. I was not aware of such. Gave him my phone to search for the link. I filled and downloaded the form only to be told I do not meet the UK fully vaccinated requirement. I had to fill the form again.

Note: Those computer centers at the airport will urge you to come and print the form. That's totally unnecessary. You do not need to print. You can present a soft copy from your phone.

Went on to check-in my luggages, both bags weighed 23 point something kg. The lady was nice enough to overlook the very little excess.
I presented the documents below;
Enrollment letter
Passport
Covid 19 negative result
Receipt of Tuition fee
Passenger locator form I submitted to the UK government
I forgot to print study permit approval letter, I had to show the lady a soft copy from my phone.
I was asked to wait somewhere while they await confirmation from their source. After confirmation I was provided my boarding pass. I chilled at the restaurant with my family till I was ready to board.

The 2 Flights were smooth and the in-flight entertainment was top notch, but I couldn't eat the meals provided. I was literally feeling hungry. I wouldn't have shared the cookies I brought from home with the passenger beside me if I had known.

NB: Don't ever depend on in-flight meals o. That's probably the only drawback from the journey.

At Heathrow airport, I couldn't access the internet properly despite my phone being connected to the WiFi. Some apps and website were inaccessible. Spent 7hrs there. I was indecisive on what to eat and when I finally did, my choices were terrible. I kept myself entertained with series I downloaded.

NB: Don't ever buy canned coconut water.

I Departed London and landed in Toronto around 4pm. The entire process at the airport was smooth as I am fully vaccinated. Immigration didn't ask any unnecessary question. It was more like a conversation.

I was picked up by a family at the airport. Currently recovering from all the stress.
Best wishes to everyone.

Hello My People.
Please I need your advice.
I said it here last week that I got a medical request for IRCC after I have done an upfront medical examination which it was updated to Pass on my timeline/profile.
I have raised a webform showing evidence of the upfront medical examination I did but I have it gotten any response nor seen changes.
Should I go and do another medical examination or what's your advice for me please ?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by viviangogos(f): 10:25am On Sep 06, 2021
If your application is in progress, you only need to defer to same DLI next intake. If you get another admission from another school, i think you may have to re apply for SP.

Hello Nairalanders,
thanks for all you do.
kindly help suggest colleges with fast response to admission in Canada as I need this due to the slow response from IRCC.
I am working on presenting a new LOA before the decision is finalized as I've already missed Fall resumption.

Thanks

The passenger locator form is only applicable to those transiting through UK. All the best.

No it is not needed for Nigerians

As regards IELTS for admission purpose, if you are a Nigerian, you don't need it, cos they know Nigeria is an English Speaking Country, the IELTS in admission requirements of Canadian Universities, colleges (DLI) are for Non-English speaking countries e.g Vietnam, Indian , Philippine etc.

But if you feel you want to fulfill all righteousness, get a LETTER OF CONFIRMATION OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LETTER (TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN FORMAT) from the THE SCHOOL YOU DID your B.SC or HND in NIGERIA. This letter can be gotten from your SCHOOL REGISTRAR in the senate or better still go to the EXAM AND RECORDS OFFICE they should be able to guide you on how to get the letter.

Contact the hospital if they've sent the medicals to ircc. If yes,

Send the slip by mail and webform. Also write out the unique number on the slip.

Send to both Lagos and nairobi.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by makano: 12:10pm On Sep 06, 2021
grin at bolded..

You can check your account more than 100 times in a day, no one will crucify you for it not even IRCC..

Checking of status depends on the applicants though, why some prefer not to check their account frequently because of high BP instead they prefer to get email notifications before login, others with eagerness or thick skin check theirs more than 20 times a day....

So it depends on individuals... Checking your profile 1000 times in a day will not lead to a refusal, so no effect whatsoever..

Peace

Nigeria is an English speaking country, so I assume Nigeria isn't included except they include Nigeria in the list of countries in their website..

Or on the alternative, you can ask for LETTER OF CONFIRMATION OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LETTER from the school you had your first degree...

Peace

If IRCC asks, you’ll show proof of your online studies.

What about those starting online classes... is there need to inform IRCC that they are starting online?
