Sick Father Wants Me To Marry,Before He Goes by ChizzyBuna(op): 1:36pm On Sep 06, 2021

I'm only child and son, my father is very old and I'm reaching 37 next year.
After surviving some serious health challenges after lockdown, he has been disturbing me to get married.
He wants to see his grandchildren before he goes.
I thought I could persuade him a little longer but the man has been on my neck recently telling me do I want him to die without seeing his grandkids.
It's really bothering me but I'm know I'm not yet financially stable to settle down.
What should I do?

Marriage comes when u are ready but if u are not ready, it will bring frustration bcoz to share ur space n finance will be a challenge to u most especially if u marry d wrong woman.

I don't subscribe to people rushing into marriages but this is a unique situation and it would be nice if you could grant your father's wishes before he transitions. Though you didn't say how much longer he has to live (or which illness he has and the stage it's in), you could make it a target to get married by March 2022. That means you've to find a woman now and start dating/getting to know her, improve your financial situation, marry in March, give her belle asap, born baby by the end of 2022. This plan assumes your Father would still be around by then and I pray he is.

May the force be with you, and best wishes to your Father. I wish him miraculous healing, IJN.

With your kind advice, it wont be bad if you marry him straight away.
