Friday September 03, I arrived at the airport around 4:30pm for a 10:55 PM flight. My parents insisted that we leave home early especially because it was raining and Lagos traffic is unpredictable. They were right.

The queue was long. I was approached by a British Airways official and he asked if I have the passenger locator form with me. I was not aware of such. Gave him my phone to search for the link. I filled and downloaded the form only to be told I do not meet the UK fully vaccinated requirement. I had to fill the form again.

Note: Those computer centers at the airport will urge you to come and print the form. That's totally unnecessary. You do not need to print. You can present a soft copy from your phone.

Went on to check-in my luggages, both bags weighed 23 point something kg. The lady was nice enough to overlook the very little excess.
I presented the documents below;
Enrollment letter
Passport
Covid 19 negative result
Receipt of Tuition fee
Passenger locator form I submitted to the UK government
I forgot to print study permit approval letter, I had to show the lady a soft copy from my phone.
I was asked to wait somewhere while they await confirmation from their source. After confirmation I was provided my boarding pass. I chilled at the restaurant with my family till I was ready to board.

The 2 Flights were smooth and the in-flight entertainment was top notch, but I couldn't eat the meals provided. I was literally feeling hungry. I wouldn't have shared the cookies I brought from home with the passenger beside me if I had known.

NB: Don't ever depend on in-flight meals o. That's probably the only drawback from the journey.

At Heathrow airport, I couldn't access the internet properly despite my phone being connected to the WiFi. Some apps and website were inaccessible. Spent 7hrs there. I was indecisive on what to eat and when I finally did, my choices were terrible. I kept myself entertained with series I downloaded.

NB: Don't ever buy canned coconut water.

I Departed London and landed in Toronto around 4pm. The entire process at the airport was smooth as I am fully vaccinated. Immigration didn't ask any unnecessary question. It was more like a conversation.

I was picked up by a family at the airport. Currently recovering from all the stress.
Best wishes to everyone.

When I went to do mine on 25th of August I saw some people making payment there and they were all for canada screening. I wondered how they did their registration because on their site it is clearly stated that your booking(registration) is not complete until you have made payment. You how things work in this country, you can try your luck if you don't mind the distance or you stay on the island.

Thank you, I already have bsc in business administration. So I’ll want a masters program in business administration, international business management or any other business related programs
You can check the

MBA program at Thompson Rivers University,
British Columbia
see the two links below

https://www.tru.ca/distance/programs/business-management/mba.html

https://www.tru.ca/business/masters-degrees/master-of-business-administration.html

They require no GMAT or GRE, you can mail the school for more information

You can also google more Universities in Canada offering MBA, Business Management etc.

Goodluck!!!

Hello my people... I have read through this page and I must confess that it has been a thrilling and information filled thread.
I am 33yrs married with a boy and I would love to explore the Canadian schooling route to migrate.
I need information on schools which are cheaper and also afford the opportunity to bring along spouse and child while also affording the benefit of myself and spouse working. Thanks

You would need to decide on what course you want to study based on your academic or professional background and cgpa
then check how much you have as budget for living expenses, tuition and others. .

let's keep faith and hope alive

Hello, I’m new here . I’ll like to know about affordable universities in Canada with tuition fee of 10000cad/ year.

it depends on your grade and what course you are studying. If you have a 2.2 you may have to do colleges which cost way more than $10,000.

for masters check memorial university
Simon fraser university, university of Northern birtish Colombia and the rest Google is your friend.

Hi guys! Please I would really be grateful to receive a response to my inquiry.

Please do not withdraw if you did MBS because the VO would still have access to the balance (until your Visa is approved). You may take the risk if you submitted only your bank statement of account and you're hell bent on withdrawal.

Stand to be corrected

Good morning everyone,

I would be grateful if anyone could assist with my query - I applied for a study permit in the middle of May but my application was made using the regular process and not the Nigerian Student Express. My account statement was submitted at the time of my application but I want to confirm if IRCC would at any stage still request for another bank account statement from me.

I want to withdraw my money from my account and purchase dollars to protect it against devaluation. I require this confirmation because I don't want a situation where IRCC will request my bank statement again and I will not have money in it anymore.

I look forward to receiving a response.

Do you mean you want to convert it to actual USD physical cash or move the funds into a USD domiciliary account? If you want to hedge against devaluation, I'll advise you convert it to USD by moving it into a domiciliary account in your name. So if they request for an updated bank statement, you can show them the domiciliary account bank statement. I opened one with UBA in my name and it was not difficult at all.

IRCC occasionally ask for updated bank statements to I don't advise you to spend the money at all. Hope this helps.

Please are you really sure about this, I work in the bank and there is no way the bank will give IRCC access the customers balance real time....
MBS is an electronic copy of your normal statement of account that is encrypted with username and password and sent directly to the Embassy.
The primary reason they prefer MBS is because its coming directly from the bank.

Good evening guys, Please I still need more insight to this.

Ive started compiling the Docs needed for my student permit application. But my concern is my spouse is MAY intake 2022, and I will be in for fall 2022 Intake, though she will be applying before me

•Please will those VO find-out in the sense that will might likely submit same Documents like Family ties, Home ties & Assets, etc • • • concerning the POF too am a self sponsored and will be sponsoring her and we may might submit same MBS, but she will submit her own SOA with my MBS.
(Shey VO no go dey reason ham say person whey wan sponsor person wan apply for Student permit too).

What evidence can I add to support a mail to IRCC showing I have started classes online?

You can start by asking the school to help you notify ircc that you ve started classes with them and make sure you give the school your application details, so that they can use it to contact ircc on your behalf
