The worse thing that has happened to Nigeria is that all the different tribes have not realized that they have all failed.

God knows it's the southwest that's carrying Nigeria on its back.

And we say we should have our own nation, some dindinrin Yorubas are saying no.

Mtscheeeewwwwww...

If we have our own nation the money will disappear

IGR is flowing because of Nigerian unity i e head offices of companies are in Lagos while there factories might be located in another state, banks head offices are in Lagos, ports etc these are institutions serving the whole Nigeria but based in Lagos. If Nigeria split relocation and disintegration will make south west loose that opportunity. Our political elites know better that's why they will never support Yoruba nation

Obviously, this is why a section of Nigeria is against restructuring

The Northern states sorry “just a few” seem to be doing very well bt I will like a deep breakdown so we have an idea of source of the generated revenues of each state.

BLAISECAMPAORE:

Eye opener indeed.

Interestingly also, without Lagos revenue (contributed by Nigerians from all regions), South-West IGR would be just N142 billion putting it 4th below the North West, North Central and South-South.

Check again.

All southeastern states are doing averagely better than most northern and southerner states.

Igbos are a miserable lot. They will abuse you for feeding them. They are scattered across all states in the south west looking for what to eat. Yorubas do not need igbos for anything. They are too parasitic.

South West minus Lagos N142b is still less than North-West's N147 Billion without Abuja and this is despite the insecurity. Lagos's biggest taxpayer is still from the NW (Dangote).

Without Lagos as walking stick, SW only beats the South East and war-torn NE.

Most of the trade in Southwest either go through one of Lagos State, Ogun state or Oyo State, go and make proper research. And a lot of potential tax payers from the Southwest lives in Lagos

Rivers State 117 billion. No wonder Wike has been fighting tooth and nail to reclaim it back to the state. If only he will use it to improve workers pay package that he has ignored since inception of his administration.

What they are saying is not clear to you. It require a deep knowledge to understand not a dull brain. They are saying a state that can survive without or manage without federal allocation. Dont forget that the FAAC come from mist of this states.so if we are practicing true federal system of government many states in the north will not survive. Key us wait and see the outcome of the recent judgement by court that says VAT should be remitted to states and see what Lagos and Ogun will be generating. Rivers and Delta will also improve in the south south while anambra will also be doing well. Oyo and other states in the south west will not be left out but Kaduna ,kano and and kwara will Aldo be doing g well
