I talked with him today to address this issue, he was pissed off about this particular guy.
My advice to the OP, this is not a matter of scam, ranting here won’t solve any problem here. You know his shop why not go there and try to sort out things with him? Have seen so many comment saying they will make sure they destroy his reputation, on what ground? What have he done to you? They had a bad thread and the OP even know his shop why coming here shouting scam? Some people sha. Before you quote me, please make sure Psalmz have scammed you once or twice.

Alot of criminals are out there, i had a similar experience with someone else, why are Nigerians this evil. A repackaged second hand phone as brand new. Chai i pity his next victim that will go ahead buying a phone from him.

honestly people are just greedy so it's not a Nigerian issue. If you follow mikkyangle's whatsapp status for offer up deals you will see him busting many scammers who try to sell fake phones to him sometimes sealed sef. If you have been buying for a long time it is easy to know what to look out for that's why I'm glad I found this thread, it gave me a crash course on how to spot fakes.

Hello guys. I just stumbled on this.

Unfortunately Psalmz might not be the guy many of you think he is. I experienced the exact same thing with him last year. I bought a phone that was supposedly 'open box and new', infact what I got was indeed a refurbished piece of lemon that had battery and screen issues...How did i find out the phone was refurbished? I downloaded an app from playstore that showed the phone's battery had been recharged SEVERAL times before I even started to use it! It was so freaking annoying! Why market your products as open box and new when indeed they are open box and refurbished Its not only dishonest , it eventually catches up with you and tarnishes your reputation. In all honesty he eventually agreed to swap the said phone with another used one despite the fact that i paid for a new phone , for the sake of peace and my friend who recommended him to me, I let it slide but I felt slighted.

Be very clear on the condition of your products.

Notice that I said a friend recommended him to me, in my opinion I think he actually mixes up legit deals with dirty false advertising , so it isn't a surprise he has quite a number of good reviews.

I have no idea who Jeff is, I'm just relating my personal experience with Psalmz. Resolve his issue ASAP.

My advice is you listen to these complaints and make amends real quick before it gets too late. You can still make good come out of this man!

P.S: Also learn not to get verbally abusive (curses and lame threats) with your clients who spent their hard earned cash on your products, it makes no sense...

When I saw the post, I called him once to hear form him, he told me his part of the story but I have to wait till I hear from Jeff and settle the issue for them. Unfortunately I got Jeff number tonight and was calling maybe he have slept off. Some people on Nairaland don’t deserve to be here at all. While I applaud your personal efforts to bringing both parties to an amicable settlement ASAP, I will not fail to point out that you started on a biased footing based on your past successful dealings and relationship with with psalmz. You did everything to make it look like Op did not do his best to resolve b4 coming public, nor he was not scammed! Yes he was scammed. When you sell an item under false pretenses it becomes deceitful, a lot of bussiness people might also be guilty of such sharp practices, which is why you should put the blames on psalmz for not doing everything to resolve the moment the Op found out his underhand dealings with him. It means he is very greedy and does not know when to give in. As for lame saying of who go patronize am go still patronize am, I laugh, I said earlier, he may not remain a phone seller forever, do you know where life is taking him tomorrow? It takes an acquaintance to make a federal minister, go and ask Geoffrey Onyema. Let him keep calling the bluff over 180k. If he fails to resolve this, it’s his reputation, if he does, he apologizes, it gives everyone the confidence that when you deal with him and issues arises, there is hope for restitution. Who cares if you have bought a space ship from him? He sold a used phone to someone as new. Didn't you read where Jeff said he had gone to his shop numerous times to discuss an agreement? A scam is a scam no matter little it sounds. The OP had presented evidence that he reached out to the seller two(2) days after he got the phone to complain about the battery, then the back of a supposed NEW phone started fading off also. Has the seller denied selling a used phone as new? NO. Instead he has gone about ranting how he has been on here for 10 yrs as if we care. One bad review if not handled properly is enough to kill a solid reputation. And thank you Jeff for speaking up coz you have saved me and many others from falling for the seller's scam.
