If you want to drive Uber at night, don't carry multiple people, unless it's a pregnant woman and her husband or a sick person and supporter at the hospital. And tell the rider to sit in front seat, while you keep one eye on the road and the other eye on your passenger's hands. You have a 50/50 survival chance if things go south. But carrying multiple people and you have people sitting behind you gives you 1% survival chance. Check most Uber drivers that get attacked and killed while driving, 90% of the time, the attack started from back seat while he drove.

It's your car, it's your life, any passenger that can't or won't comply with your personal safety rules at night, cancel the trip, let them exit from your vehicle and move on. Better to lose 2K alone than to lose your life and the 2K and put your family into mourning.

It’s a pity.. i have been there and thank God I survived when i was a taxify driver in Lagos. Yes the money can be enticing but stop doing late night trips and if it’s a must let it be just one passenger and he must sit at the front or you cancel the ride. Note that the bold company do not car about you so don’t risk your life for nothing ��

Just imagine,a Medical Doctor, possibly running to the Hospital at night to safe lives but here the Ubber/ Taxi connivance has brought to forum the damn Insecurities challenges on our Nation.One thing is that the Police can fix these challenges,if they are ready to do it! The govt and the Police Authority must without biases have the will power to bring justice to the people of Nigeria

Only a true thief feels like he owns someone else's property, stealing on its own is a despicable act, killing their victims while in the act is crossing a line I can't really qualify. Take whatever you wanna take, why take his life also? then they go deaf at the moment of reckoning, pleading for mercy and blaming the devil!! these boys don't deserve a court case, an execution best suits them.

I swear to drop any form of inter city transport business after experiencing all the challenges you quote above. Okada man even slapped me for doing nothing...that was the day I packed my car and I said if this is the only business I can do for a living let me die. Since then I cruise alone except I'm carrying my friends, neighbour or family member.
