OPERATION HADIN KAI: TROOPS ARREST HIGH PROFILE BOKO HARAM TERRORIST, RAID IED MATERIALS HUB IN THE NORTH EAST

Troops of Sector 2 Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have arrested a high profile Boko Haram member and raided Boko Haram Improvised Explosive Devices materials hub in Damboa and Gashua Local Government Areas of Borno and Yobe States respectively. These operational feats were recorded following robust operations conducted by troops of OPHK.

Following a tip off, a wanted BH/ISWAP terrorist, one Yawi Modu, who has been on the wanted list was nabbed along Damboa-Wajiroko road.

Relatedly, troops have successfully busted a Urea Fertilzer syndicate known for supplying terrorists with IED materials. The market is believed to be the notorious hub for IED materials for BHT/ISWAP.

These ISWAP criminals facing the reality of obvious depletion are desperately acquiring IED materials to make explosive devices with which to unleash terror on innocent civilians, in a bid to remain relevant and present a posture of potency.

In the sting operation conducted, a total of Two Hundred and Eighty One 50 Kg bags of Urea were recovered from the warehouses in the market and two notorious BHT distributors were also arrested.

Recall that Urea fertilizer has been banned by Government because its use as a major component for manufacturing IED by terrorists. The suspects and materials recovered are currently undergoing preliminary investigation.

While commending the vigilance and resilence of the troops, the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya has reassured them of his support in decisively tackling the Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.

It is the government duty to counter false information within the ambits of democracy.
I was wondering why the government have not tried to sue a media outlet for putting out fake news but sometimes this media guys are creative when it comes to bending the law. You point them in the direction but don't go with them. Then let the people make the point for you and draw their conclusions
Imagine the damage to ethnic divide when I say something like : NAVY BASE IN THE NORTH, WHERE THERE IS NO WATER.
Make this a topic of discussion with no unbaised analyst in the house and see OAP's and biased citizens draw conclusions that the north are leeching on the south

Another recent example of media irresponsibility is the recent querying of the establishment of desert warfare command of the Nigerian navy in the north of the country and not in the south because it is a "naval base" that should be situated near coasts, implying that it was politically motivated.
All these aren't surprising as we all know that many of the media organizations are owned by politicians who served in past/present administrations and misinformation to them is simply a means to an end.
If we want to be honest to ourselves must service Chiefs sef carry military facilities to their villages? It's already becoming a trend amongst our Military chiefs. As for the naval base issue I saw an advert on Channelstv sponsored by the Navy on the CNS annual conference, they clearly said highlights of the conference will be inauguration of a "Naval Base" by the state governor (Ganduje).... Whether na desert warfare kini it wasn't expressesly stated. If you create an atmosphere of half information, speculations and rumour mongering will blossom. That's by the way must we concentrate all our military installations in just one part of the country? The last time I checked there is a naval training center in Kaduna aside the numerous Military and paramilitary training Institutions domiciled in that part/region of the country. You sef check am na, it's all these things we think don't matter that stir up the public, we should not decieve ourselves Nigeria is made up of many nations we need to weigh our actions/inactions at every step in other not to stir the hornet nest.

4 months to go,make we see nah.
Money no dey for all this project ooo

Even if the president is crazy to the extent of borrowing to buy all these, especially for the navy, the recurrent cost will almost bankrupt the country. What's the current budget deficit? What percentage of the budget goes into debt servicing? For a government that has huge plans for infrastructure development (rail, new oil rigs, refineries, power sector etc) I doubt that will be possible.

Who has any updates on this vehicle? One would have expected it to be featured in the north west operation.

Sorry Josco, we don't have money to buy 4 submarines, even if we are getting submarine, it won't be more than 1, highest would be 2 and it will take years, submarines are very costly, 1 submarine cost a billion plus dollars, where would Nigeria get such amount for 4 submarines, when it's not even a necessity?
We can't even get that 4 frigates you mentioned there, easy abeg.

You can't be talking like this.

You know if Oga Josco wants to do give away for us?
