Good day house. Please few questions

* If my final destination is Nova Scotia, where will I do my 14days quarantine? Toronto or Novia Scotia ?

* Please recommend good platform for flight booking. I’ve read lot of bad reviews on Wakanow.

Thanks

When are you going?

Hi people, can I include one or two siblings in my express entry profile without dragging down my total CRS score, which is currently 475?

Good afternoon Sirs and MAs.
Please I am about the embark on Canada express entry journey with my husband and 6months old baby.
Here are my questions:
1) how long does the process take, I am considering the Manitoba Provincial nomination program of skillled workers overseas.
2) Do I have to go ahead with the provincial nominee application before the express entry or vice versa or I will start the two together at once. I am confused here
3) is there a way one can get job offer in Canada to process the express entry, because the person that one to nominate us is not sounding serious.

I will really appreciate replies. Thanks

Hello guys,

I’m just joining you guys, I simulated my CRS which is 481, I have an 8.5 score in IELTS and I’m quite young. I really do not know much about the whole immigration thing yet, I’ve just been following advice of peers and making research when I can. I’ve completed the first part, which is the submission before you get an ITA.

However, I’ve heard that the application takes a long time now and it’s more difficult to get an ITA. There seems to be an alternative called PNP, I don’t really understand how I can take advantage of that or what other options I have.

I would be happy if someone can help with information or advice on how to take the most advantage of the situation. Also if there are WhatsApp or telegram groups that can help, I’d be glad if someone shares links to them. Thanks a lot.

Check this link for the list of PNP websites and research the options available (ignore the reference to paper application).

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/provincial-nominees/eligibility.html

Most popular are:
Saskatchewan
Manitoba
Ontario
New Brunswick
Alberta

Their procedures and eligibility requirements are all different and one province can have several programmes.

Also read about PNP through Express Entry, by going to page 1 of this thread and clicking the link circled in this screenshot.

Happy Reseraching!

POF should be in your account not less than 90 days before you submit full application. So if you've had it for more than a month, keep counting till it gets to 90 days, get your bank statement and submit.

My profile in the express entry pool expired not my IELTS..I just checked it, so I applied for sakatchewan PNP after I entered the EE pool. I don't know what to do.

I'm in the same situation also.
My husband got ITA this morning but his Express entry application has expired and his IELTS expires next month

#MyUnderstanding....not sure you can use an expired EE profile to apply to Sask. Pls quickly create a new EE profile and SINP EOI profile (or check if you can edit EE number of the previous one) or email Sask to confirm.

Hello everyone,
Do you know of any reliable shippers from Lagos to Toronto?
I have some dry food items (Total under 30Kg) to ship down from there.
Thanks

Hello everyone, please I’m not trying dash everyone’s hope but I want to know are we all waiting indefinitely for draws or are some you making plan B’s, if yes could you share some of your options with me ? Would it be a good idea to apply for study visa to Canada or to another European visa ? I’m wary about the study route because I have a husband and son and I would want a process that allows us to leave together. If any of you with family’s have some plan B options please share. Thanks a lot

Hello All,

Need some advice.
I’ve just received my GCMS notes this morning. AOR September 2020 and Accra VO. From what I’ve read in it, I passed all the criteria and final status is approved. I can also under document issuance that COPR counterfoil/vignette was issued since 2020/Dec and even queued for print. However I didn’t receive any request for passport. The last email I received from IRCC was in November 2020 for biometric submission which I did and they updated my profile with it.

From what I can see, it was issued at the Accra VO and expires in September 2021 but no passport request was done since December. Who can advise what steps I should take in this situation? Or should I just continue waiting…

There's nothing to do but wait. A lot of people are in the same boat as you are. PPR wasn't issued because of travel restrictions, but now that it has been eased, we should be seeing some gradual uptick in activities.

Best case - your medicals will be given an extension for new COPR
Worst case scenario- you're asked to redo medicals for new COPR when the time comes

Saw this yesterday.
Japa gurus, how does one handle this situation?

Yes, include it in your travel history because it's already in your database and nothing can remove it.

Changing DOB or passport re-issuance (due to other reasons) does not invalidate your travel history.

Thanks. So PCC is also a must?

Thanks a lot for the reassurance. It’s bittersweet tho…finding out that all this time I thought my application wasn’t decided as it shows on my profile, I had already been issued a COPR which expired before it can be even used.…Hmmm

But some people have traveled this year, did they get PPR emails or how did they manage to get their visas stamped on their passports?

All steps needed are on this link "https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#93294387".
And English test is a must for all immigration routes I have heard of.

I think EE draws will start soon but in the meantime, if you want a plan B, you can try the Canadian study permit route. That allows you to leave with your family: your husband can make a work permit application along with your study permit application.

Update to my Enquiry for those who graduated from NOUN.
WES evaluated my MSc as a Canadian equivalent of a Masters degree and I have received the soft copy.
And I did not need to physically visit NOUN to request for transcript nor did I pay anyone to facilitate. Every thing was done online.
Transcript was sent exactly 9 days after I paid online without any external intervention.
Could you pls guide on this?
