Even in America , they roll back odometer , not only a Nigeria thing ..
Now they steal catalyst over there also
It's a BIG CRIME in the US to rollback odometer.
Generally Vehicles with ROLLBACKED Odometers are meant for shipping out of the US.
Anyone that does such and sells same car to you is in for it.
Same with most cars with damaged AIRBAGS.
Such Vehicles are shipped out through sales.

My cousins Sienna has limit of 280; and sometimes on the highway; he runs the speedometer to the very last and the speed is still increasing.

No sienna has 280 not even 200kmh. Sienna can never ever do 280 go back and check well stop adding to our national foolishness which is already overflowing

My first car camry 2.2, clocked 200k miles by March this year.

First Pic, when it hit 199k miles

Second pic, when it hit 200k miles

Presently clocking 245k miles, I hardly use it often since I got my second car this year.

Still same engine since 2011, bought with 87k miles milage and engine has never been opened nor tampered with since then. Running like a tokumbo engine. No noise. Still prefer it for long distance travel. I have so much attachment to the car that I may not sell it

Sincerely speaking, I have done 185km/hr in 2010 with my Honda Accord, Baby Boy. On my way to Kano State from Abuja. I was very young and extremely in my mid-forty then. But can't go beyond 120-130 now max out of fear of course.

My Honda pilot is 205,000 miles or 330, 000 kilometers.
Same engine. Never changed. Infact it wount have been touched if not for when the timing belt cut at ore Expressway.
Bought it when it was 130k miles or 210k kilometers 9 years ago.

Once saw on cnn a man whose own read 1.000.000 and he has been using the toyota truck from new! Guess what...toyota gave him a brand new truck n collected the old!
I guess they want to restudy their car!

It's not possible.
They will be on the same speed.
Even an airplane 200km/h is same as a carbon the same 200km/h.

My 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe which I bought when the mileage was approximately 59,000 miles (95,000 km) is now around 304,000 miles (489,000 km). Since I got the vehicle, I only did one major repair that cost me $1400. The vehicle still run very fine. Just doing oil change routinely is the key.

I read it here on Nairaland. The woman is a South Korean, and she drives an Hyundai car which she uses to run delivery.

When the car reached 999,999 it stopped because it can read 7 digits.

Eventually, Hyundai made a Gold plated sign denoting 1M, and placed it in front of the normal odometer reading for her.

It's an interesting story if you can find it. grin

Relative to income, no country has more outrageously unaffordable Bills than Nigeria, look at food inflation being 18000% since the 80s..how much has income increased? Abroad you can easily afford your Bill's when you're fully employed but in Nigeria u cant.
