Its a pity that is the current rate of the car. That 1.9m is a request price. by the time you bargain well, it will not be less that 1.75m. As an importer, even if that car was picked up for free on the street of US, the landing cost will still be about N1.25m with the real custom duty, which every importers can relate. if its not free, he would have paid nothing less than $600 for it, now add that naira equivalent of N330k to the N1.25m = N1.580m
That simply means the seller is very on course with his price.

Its Just a Pity Nigerians can no longer afford good Vehicles and its a blunder on behave of the importer to bring this into the country, knowing fully well Nigerian will not want it for the actual price. This should only be shipped in on request.

Bros the reason why i am living rent free in the heart of internet rats ganging up to attack any of my post is cos I say the truth and stand by it . I have been doing that for the past 10 years plus that I 've been on this forum. I am not afraid of their childish attack ..I won't give them the attention they are looking for

You might be wondering where I am going with all this narration . Sir , the high cost of dollar is affecting everything in Nigeria . Not restricted to cars only . In the past we use to buy this car for 1.2m for tokunbo but that cannot be said now. 5 months I go I sold one for 1.6million but a few days later I can't even buy another one . I don't blame anyone ...I blame the economy ...like someone said , by December the dollars might get to 1000naira ...it might surprise you that hi may not be able to buy this car for 2million by then. Is not enough coming to nairaland to lament for the purpose of getting like and shares from people who refuse to face reality .However whether the like it or not ..the reality will confront them in their face ....their reward will be insulting me for the purpose of getting like and share . They will only get what they ask for ...like and shares ...I am here to make money and one million of their fake account can't stop me.

Finally , don't get angry cos things is going to get worse. Dollar is now 550naira ...pray for a better tomorrow and make provision for the worst

Bro u do not owe anyone an explanation. Do not mind them

Thank you bros . I am only advising this person cos his moniker is not amongst internet rats . If he is one of them, I wouldn't bother responding cos if you check their profile, they 've no business here . When I joined nairaland 10 years ago ...the moderators ensure people of questionable characters like all this internet rats were banned ...but now the create multiple account for the purpose of insulting people old enough to be their parents . Karma will catch up with them . I have vowed never to respond to them . People should take note of their monikers each time the attack me....Visit their profile ...see if you can see anything meaningful they are doing . They steal money from their parents to buy data to insult me up and down ...karma will catch them . Thank you for the advice . To me they are cursed people ..even church won't be able to save them when they start reaping what they sowed . They will beg for forgiveness and heaven won't hear them

Na Gold dey the Engine?

You can't get tokunbo of this car at 1.3m now considering the current exchange rate. Even during Jonathan's tenure, this car sells between 1.250 and 1.3.
If 2003 Big daddy could be sold at 2.1m presently, it means 2001 camry will be between 1.6- 1.7m. [/quote]

Rubbiish:

E clear say u never buy car recently!
As at 2018 that car was already in the range of 1.2 to 1.3m! when voltron was around 2.5/2.6m? I bought Lexus ES350 2007 model as at 2018 for 3.3m! Go check the current price of Lexus Es350 07. Don't just stay on nairaland throwing insult up & down, go car stand make u hear price!

Instead of wasting time on a nairaland kid, pls let's be friends.

I just love the way u r mentioning numbers like 2.3m , 1.2m , etc.

Mentioning car brands/models.

I just love the vibes.

Maybe someday, I'll need ur advice for getting my first car.

My contact is in my profile.

Our friendship could be on WhatsApp and not necessarily meeting in real life.

I forgot to tell u...

I'm not in need of money or any form of Financial aid.

I'll wait for ur response.

Well let’s not be in a hurry to castigate the owner of the advert. What’s the cost of clearing a Car now? How about registration and other hidden charges plus the seller’s profit intended?
