It is quite obvious that Nigeria was created in 1914 and expired in 2013.

The only solution to the problems in Nigeria is DIVISION.

God has blessed every ethnicity in Nigeria greatly with available resources to sustain them.

Why is our leaders suffering Nigerians when they knew that Nigeria has expired?

So in the amalgamation letter did it say that it has a expiry date and all parties can divide at will? No it doesn't there's no reason for Nigeria's division instead of looking for a civil war why don't we get the right people into power and get a referendum through that medium instead of wasting our time fighting

Bad things need prayers.
So are good things.
We can not and should not
Stop praying.

However, faith without works (taking corresponding actuons) is dead.

We're called to pray ALWAYS, for and in every situation. Telling pastors not to urge their members not to pray, is like telling a farmer not to take a hoe and cutlass to the farm.
Why pastors are often the focus of these people is what I don't understand. How many percent of the Nigerian population are pastors?
Are pastors democratically elected?
What's the army and police meant for then?

There are some element of truth in what he said but nevertheless, this is a country we are talking about not just an individual, therefore we can't give up on a whole nation cos it's goin to affect us all, therefore we must continue to pray for our belove country Nigeria. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

Prayer is for spiritual well being and to a degree physical health and work is for physical progress and physical well being praying without work won't get us anywhere, praying for Nigeria whilst voting APC and PDP won't do anything for us, praying for Nigeria whilst demonizing ENDSARS isn't helpful if you want to help Nigeria join a political party and mobilize for them.

Let's stop praying and start working and see the change that brings if all of us went out and joined political parties and helped garner support for them and they win will that not bring us more development then prayer?

Stop praying and start working is what he's saying not everything should be about scripture or what your God says it is high time Nigerians stop being so overly superstitious and religious and start taking action and fighting for what they want
what happened to your own hands? Why don't you show an example by your actions? You don't have to believe in the supernatural, and frankly, no one owes you an explanation as to why Christians pray.
Go to sambisa forest and fight the Boko Haram. Don't hide behind your screen dissing things you haven't the slightest idea about.

I can infer that Seun is not implying that prayers for the country is bad!

Far from it!

He is saying that instead of concentrating all our energy and focus on prayers alone, we have a civic obligation to point out failings in the system and confront them in order to bring about positive developments.

At the end of the day, we all can beat our chests that the Nigeria of our dreams has arrived.

I am using my own hands i've joined a political party and i'm spreading awareness for its cause and its mission everyday on twitter, facebook, instagram and nairaland as well as talking to friends and family about it and I said you should pray it's good even in my religion we pray but when we want something done we work for it not pray for it my mission in the grand scheme of things is solely political and cultural so why would I go to Sambisa? Anyways continue praying as you like but i'd suggest that you join a political party like M.O.P to change the current fortune of Nigeria

We don't all have to join a party.
Let's shine the light of Christ
Everywhere and at all levels
Starting from the home and Church.
We can also be part of Civil Society.

However, if a Christian or some Christians feel led by God, they may join political parties or even form their own party.

If they don't hate the church, who else will they hate?

The go to vote in losers and turn around and attack Christians. They haven't demanded to know where their VAT and other taxes go. Where do the proceeds of their TSA payments go? They don't want to know what constituency allocations were used for. But it's so convenient to lay it at the feet of churches.

Churches that are developing their nation for them.

the other day, I read it here on NL that each house of rep member is given 100m naira per year for their constituencies. Yet no outrage on a large scale. But let them read that a pastor bought a new jet, built a bigger dome or a University, suddenly the church is to blame for every problem in this country.
Seun Kuti should carry placard to the house of assembly. They are the ones who are elected, by law.
If they don't repent, that hatred will choke them all.

Voting in the right people is important
But that's just 1 thing.

The people too must be doing the right things at their levels and in whatsoever situations they are.

The responsibility for positive change rests on all, leaders and followers, ruler and the ruled, not only leaders and rulers.

Don't mind them. They will never hold the right people to account. Instead they have found reason not to attend church, or pay their tithes, reasons not to pray, reasons not to believe. grin
These people are funny. Their anger is misplaced, and it's funny.

Praying can also kill if not accompanied by work it is work that gives you a house and puts food on your table and it is prayer that helps you find the right work so let them work in tandem and not one solely on its own
