Brother my advice to you is to Just watch and Pray, because it is not by how long you abstain, it is by the Grace not to fall into temptation. And fyi everything is not for social media.

Another attribute which helps is service to humanity. Mine was volunteering in church, but I stopped when I returned to Nigeria and realised it is a different ball game. When I find myself again outside Nigeria, surely, I will get involved wholeheartedly.

Instead of browsing porns, try to develop your brain. In this Nigeria that there is no job, just keep studying new materials and new subjects. Read, digest, meditate, and develop your own theories. It is fun, and you just keep getting better going it. People will see you intelligent, but you know you haven't got there cos there are still many people you also look up to.

It's not like addicts don't want to develop their brain, but this habit hijacks the reward pathways of the brain. The only thing you can do and enjoy is watching porn and/or masturbating. All the motivation towards other productive works are directed towards the addiction. Brother you don't really know how happy I am to be reading this, I was so fucking addicted to masturbation till recently. At first it was ok , I loved the feeling and sensation but little did I know that I am entering into a deep shit, I started masturbating on 2013 till few months ago.
