Over the years, mostly in my early teens, I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with 4 dislocations, thanks to football, basketball and some rough play in school. I did my left elbow twice and suffered one dislocation on both wrist. Reflecting on the pains I had gone through on each of those challenging periods, I frankly would not wish it on my worst enemy. I often hear people complain about dental pain, I can testify that dental pain and dislocation no be mate.

I was once on the waiting cue at the bone setters place, a grown man, probably in his 50s was having his shoulder fixed, he cried and screamed so hard that he poo pooed on himself. I practically took to my heels when it got to my turn

I pray for total restoration for everyone going through this ordeal currently. The Lord is your strength.

Remember a time back then in secondary school, I think was in SSS2 then.


So we were playing a match in the school field i tackled one of my friends the guy started started shouting my leg my leg omo. We rushed the guy to one old man dey Said is good at setting bones, the guys mum came when they were setting the bone omo come see drama she was like "you don paralyze my pickin o".

Well they later sha called my dad and he footed the bill silly me thought my dad pardoned me as we got home laidis my dad pulled his belt omo see beating of my life my mum saved me that day. I didn't play football for almost the entire term and the guys leg took just a week or so to be fully functional.

Any solution for scoliosis, I have scoliosis am doing some exercises trying to correct it, but it's slow

No toilet and plenty injection and pains is not something to write today.

One trado woman almost made me lose my leg in 2019

Had an accident and the kind of pains I was my peeps thought I had a broken bone.

Without an x-ray peeps took me to trado woman.
She said I had a broken bone and kept on using mud on my leg and it was rottening internally because it was swollen from the accident and all I need at first were some antibiotics.
After 2days nurse who gave me initial first aid called and advised me to go for an x-ray quickly.
As I got the x-ray I was told nothing was wrong with me.
Went to see a doctor immediately and doc said if I had come 2 days later he would have referred me to FMC where they will cut the leg.

I have to do 3 minor Operations on that leg Sha

Exactly. What they know is hot water and herbs. Again, I think the ancient art of bone setting is fading away.

Same here. With severe complications.

The best they can do is to also dislocate a chicken's leg and watch to see how it heals. Whatever happens, is exactly what would happen to you.

I have even heard stories where they said a traditional healer would call a bone fragment from site of motor vehicle accident to appear on the patient to aid the healing.


But on a serious note, although not the conventional wisdom in our local settings, traditional healers wouldn't be able to determine if a bone would need reduction, the angle and desired range of motion of the bone. Also, the chances of infection is high and the patient would have to endure excruciating pain. Additionally, other pathophysiological effects might not be well managed.

I've had both bone dislocation and dental ish.. guy dental ish is the worst, you can't think straight, failed an exam cause I was unable to read

Not me, a friend's girl, they got knocked down by a speeding vehicle, the bone healer straightened both their legs in about a month and they've been fine ever since. Happened about 8 years ago, I sha follow them argue because I wanted them to go the hospital but they declined. They've been proving me wrong for 8 years
