Have found this strange pic of this aw139 SAR too , no other pic of it . After a small search i found that its a helicopter of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) , not the navy or air force , it was sent to the Nigerian navy station for repairs . Abondoned there for 3 years , according to these source .

Its upto them to make the move, considering P75I involves 6 submarines for ~ 6 billion dollars + P75A involves 6 SSN for ~ 17 billion dollars + S-5 class SSBNs each estimated at 3+ billion dollars

Yes, that's what Australia is saying now....... The dynamics changed from what was obtainable when the initial RFI was issued.

Irrespective though, I didn't see the possibility where America would have allowed France go ahead with this deal at the loss of American defence contractors. It's too juicy to let another country have it.

Same scenario played out with one of these Northern European countries. I think it's Denmark or was it Norway.

The US government pressured the Danes to get the F-35, instead of the Rafale that fulfilled all Danish security needs.

It's also the same pressure America mounted on Indonesia and they abandoned their SU-35 deal.

Most probably USA, or the political class, is using it, as a means to milk USA. They need to calm down, with the way it is now, in 5 years, even NATO would have a big issue holding down China +Russian military pact.
As it stands the USA, would win battles against China, but winning a war is almost becoming impossible, most especially if China's recent weapons actually work, because there are some that USA, doesn't have an actual counter to, and most if their weapons are more cost effective in relation to what they are designed to kill, eg DF21 aircraft carrier killers, and their hypersonic missiles, to kill the USA SPY1 equipped ships.
