As advised by your agent, postpone your travels towards end of September or early weeks on October.

As I stated also, my next students are traveling end of September, there is nothing you are coming to do early as classes start on October for most universities.
Ok sir But the reason your student are going ending of the month it’s because they don’t want to go early but mine are saying due to change in governmental rules sir. I’m just confused right now sir.

Thank you Sir,the university isn't EMU? could you help me process the invitation for the 3 kids from EMU?

wip7:

Notify the university that you will be traveling with your children and that you will be financially able to support yourself and your children's education in Cyprus. Give them the children's international passport information. For EMU, a separate letter is usually sent to applicants like this, inviting them and their children. So I'm not sure about the university you want to go to. For the embassy, use this letter and accompany it with financial proof that you can afford the living expenses, as well as the father's consent letter.

You must obtain a work permit for 6 years following your education or buy property/start a business to stay permanently in North Cyprus (meaning have a permanent residence card). Otherwise, you must either find/create a job or leave the country or begin a new academic program within 60 days of completing your studies.

Yes, you can still apply until the end of September.

To begin the admissions process, you must first decide on the program you want to pursue and research universities that offer it. Then look into the cost of tuition and housing. If you believe you or your sponsor can afford it, review the admission requirements and prepare the required documents. Then proceed with the application process.

Please let me know if you have any problems with this. First and foremost, what program do you wish to pursue and what is your GPA?
please how can I pay school fees

All acceptance/admission letters include bank account information. Either obtain a foreign currency and pay through your domestic account or take the acceptance letter to your bank, which will assist you in making a payment in your local currency. Collect the telex copy after they've made the payment and send it to your university. Another alternative is to use an online payment gateway, which allows you to pay with a credit or debit card that has been set up for online transactions.

I applied to CIU, paid school fees , my flight is booked for the 2nd of October but seeing the comments here it gets me skeptical if I still want to do this.

I guess I went into this without proper research

@wip7

Please I need assistance. I have paid my tuition fees and I'm about to book a flight to ERCAN, but here's my confusion.

- I'm not using an agent and I'm not sure how to proceed with the OKTB after booking the flight.

After the ticket is purchased, OKTB is processed. In most cases, we handle the OKTB on behalf of our students. If you want to handle it yourself, I recommend going to the Turkish Airline ticket office directly. Despite the fact that several individual students are alleged to have gone straight to the Turkish airline, they have been told that they will not be processed. However, give it a shot.

- I also intend to book for 29th and the flight I found is a 2 stop flight within Turkey, one in Ataturk and the 2nd stop is Sabiha Gokcen, from there to ERCAN.

Unfortunately, OKTB is often restricted at Sabiha Gokcen Airport, therefore taking this ticket option will be a major hassle for you. Your sole option for a flight is to go through Istanbul airport if you are using OKTB.

Would the documents of OKTB be presented at both stops or would I be verified at the first stop and given a transit Visa to complete my journey, or how is this done please?

OKTB will only be checked via Istanbul airport, not others, so get a flight just through that.

- Lastly, after booking my flight, how do I go about getting or processing the OKTB. NB: My flight is a round trip.

Thanks.

As previously indicated, you can go to a Turkish airline ticket office and tell them what you want to do before buying your ticket, and they will do it for you or let you know if they cannot do it. Don't purchase a ticket till you get a confirmation from the airline or an agent since you may lose money if you purchase the incorrect routes.

The process cost of OKTB is not fixed, however, we presently charge between 300 and 400 dollars, depending on the flight and other criteria. So, first and foremost, go to Turkish Airlines and present your admission and tuition payment receipt documentation, as well as a request for a ticket and an OKTB service. They'll tell you whether or not they're up to the task. If they cannot, better subscribe to the agent service or get a visa.

Best wishes

Hello @Wip7 et al

Is there any known issue with OKTB recently. Do people still use it to travel to TRNC and how long does it take to process

Also is OKTB a printed document and how does one confirm of it has been processed because it is being done by an agent

A sincere answer would be appreciated

There is a link from our university, EMU, but the method is the same for other universities; please see the link below for further information. The wristband tracker will be given to you when you have paid at the airpot.

On the average, OKTB takes 3 to 5 days to process by the airline after all documentation submitted.

OKTB is not a printed document just an updated code on the ticket and only visible to the airline officer/staffers.

Even if you already knew these, I'd like to share them with you to make your life more enjoyable. Please steer clear of the following:

—- If you're a fresh student, don't give anyone money because they won't be able to repay you only give what you can forget.

—- It would be excellent to avoid those who smoke unknown substances, drink excessively, or use strong narcotics. Police in the area have informants who are paid commissions when people are arrested and sentenced to prison.

—-additionally, to your education, make use of the internet and other digital resources.

—-rather than whining, as the bulk of people do, look for possibilities even in the dark and choose the less travelled path, opening your eyes to enjoy the benefits.

For information on the quarantine procedure for new students, contact your university or visit the university website. Eastern Mediterranean University has outlined the steps on its website, which are applicable to all new and returning students to Cyprus. See the link below, which leads to the EMU website, and read and follow the instructions.

You can contact Voyavisa directly via email and phone.
