Hello. My PC is giving me serious issues. When I boot it and head to Word, I would not type up to a sentence before some alphabets show in the Word Navigation Bar above stopping me from typing. Some times, a particular letter will keeps tyyyyyyyyyyyping until I press a key and stop it. Please help me.

My Laptop's screen backlight is acting up.
When the laptop's charger is plugged in, everything functions perfectly, but when I unplug it, and the battery depletes to below 90%, the screen starts to flicker. The more the battery depletes, the more intense the flickering.
When the battery goes down to about 70% or below, the screen's backlight shuts off entirely, with random light-ups at unpredictable intervals.
The screen still displays things if you peep really closely or shine an external light on the screen.
It is an Asus F555Y.
I will appreciate your inputs. TIA.

Check your power management, check if it set to sleep at a particular time on battery.

this is a very common issues with laptop keyboard due to lot of things ranging from a particular stuck or press down key, dirts in the keyboard. it will resolve itself as time goes by. sometimes a simple laptop reset can resolve it, or uninstalling the keyboard driver and restarting the pc.

I think the cimos battery is responsible for this....Is it something I can change by myself and how much can I get it(CIMOS battery) in computer village?

You already set the power management to do not sleep so the screen will not sleep.

Since its something you can change by yourself and you know how the cmos battery of your laptop look like, if it is the rounded one you place inside it compactment you can get it from the aboki selling wristwatch if it is the other one you need to see a technician to get it.

is there any beep sounds when you boot the laptop, a bad ram can cause the screen not to display, if the indicator lights are on, it means the laptop is working but something is hindering it to post-op, a faulty hardware.

Not at all. The fan will just be making noise. After sometime, it will go of.

What I mean is, only the light that lights up the screen goes off. The screen still shows something, but you will need to peer closely to be able to see it or shine another light on the screen.

Now I understand better, looks like it works well on charger but backlight goes off on battery mode, this is a rare case.

The first thing to do is try another battery with it to see how it goes, if problem persist you need to see a laptop technician.

This might result from leftover files or malware on your pc. Solution is to download Hitman pro installer for your OS version and run the cloud scan. If it prompts you for activition, click free activation and input a working email to fix your pc. Make sure you select delete instead of ignore for any detected item.

Try this small but powerful tool before changing your keyboard. You're welcome.
