Keep deceiving yourselves. Have we not had good family values since so many years ago in Nigeria? What destroyed them? Corruption, nepotism etc.

Someone exposes bribery and corruption and he is punished while the corrupt politician is celebrated. What do you think that person will advise his children? To do the right thing again?

Let’s assume this:

That old woman (named Tina) lives around other women with kids. They were all poor with no clear chance of escaping poverty. Despite the hardship, she disciplined her kids to be good kids, hoping that education and good character will help them in the future. Her kids manage to go to school with sponsorship from a distant relative. After school, no work, so they come back home where rent is free, and engage in menial jobs and whatever is decent and doable to survive.

Tina knows how corrupt the country is, even criminals get arrested and bribe themselves out with money. What do you think will be going on in Tina’s mind? In fact after doing yahoo, Kate’s son is now a politician making laws for Nigeria. What advise do you think Tina and Kate will give young people?

Those people you read about in the news that will find a lost bag filled with currencies (most times foreign), left behind by their owners but choose to return them, you must be thinking they don't have any single personal financial challenge right? The same reason you will see some westerners who cheated to win a competition come back after some years to confess and return their winnings because they couldn't live with themselves. You see that thing called conscience, it knows how to haunt someone. I will leave you with these wise words; "some people are so poor, all they have is money".

My case is similar to yours, except that this lady is around her late 30s or early 40s.

I'm a freelancer, which means I can work from anywhere.

I work mostly from my bedroom. Always at home.

They assumed I was doing Yahoo.

This lady started encouraging me, telling me that I would keep pressing button.

She even said that someone she knew picked 50M recently.

I was blunt to tell her that I'm a freelance writer, and never in my life would I support scams.

I told her, without batting an eye lid, that scam is the last thing that I'll do, cause I have felt the pain of being scammed.

I told her, and I walked away like a boss. I don't need to do any shady business to make money when I have one of the most sophisticated brains in the world.
