Sorry to bother you. My brother doesn't even know nor have his account officer contact. How best do you think he can solve this, cause that like his major account and if he can't access the account via mobile app or debit card then funds would be trapped there. All efforts to speak to a customer service representative here is met with machine response.

He should be able to use the app here, my app works well for years and i can also access my account through the web, there you will see your account manager's name and contact details as well. You can also get their number from their website and keep calling till you get through

This is below the minimum wage. I'm guessing that figure of £5/hour is for people who are are unregistered and do not fulfill all the legal requirements for the job e.g DBS checks, OFSTED registration etc.

It's not.
My sister and her family have just moved to Aberdeen, and I made a lot of their arrangements from here, including getting the council's list of registered providers. That is the average hourly rate quoted there.

Good afternoon everyone, I will like to ask,
please what areas or towns are advisable and affordable to live in, get student jobs and full time for someone studying in university of Hertfordshire, and has one dependant. We were advised Ipswich or North London but I'd like opinions please.

If you've not gotten a good answer then try Luton.

On a side note… please i would like to ask a question mainly targeted to the tech gurus.

Can anyone Analyse a problem currently faced by the uk government and how amazon web services can solve the problem… this is for a research work i am currently doing please
Can you start by listing one or more of the problems the UK government is facing, then we can see how some of AWS services solves the problem.

Can you state the specific challenge. Are there no houses in the area you are looking for? They don't meet your specification, etc, so people will know how to help you.

Ok so far my spouse and I have been looking for accommodation that would accommodate a couple and also close to school.

All the letting we have viewed and made contact are not very welcoming to couples.

At this point we are tired and we are supposed to land Wales on Sunday.

If we can get an accommodation that will take a couple close to USW, it would really be helpful.

Thank you

FG says they are manipulating the market. So they've halted displaying rates to allow FG do their thing.

That was not my experience with GTBANK, it was a frustrating experience , you send them one email you get 3-4 replies of the same content and different ref numbers, I posted the whole experience in the previous part.

If my card expires I will forget about that account till anytime I visit Nigeria.

They are much better this year, it took about 10days in all and my card and token was delivered to UK within those days. Quite surprising all for about 10k.

Although the loads of repetitive emails and reference still exist sha

Nursery for 3years old, not sure how many free hours you get in Scotland. If you find an African community forum there, you might be lucky to get someone who takes flat rates for all kids (like 30/40pounds per day). I know a few friends who got such offers. Good luck on your search.

If one has that amount to pay someone informally, I believe a nursery is better with proper structure and feeding included for cheaper or similar amount

Hahaha, haba. It doesn't work that way for childcare setting with multiple kids. Multiply that rate by 8 to 10hrs most kids do, and if full-time that alone runs into £800 per child. Now imagine having 2 under 3s in Nursery, out of how much Salary

Good day all

Please, are there any free or subsided childcare options for international students that have kids under the age of 5?

In Scotland your 3yr old is eligible to attend free nursery full time. Unless they are under 3.

Have you had any issues with this?

Nursery schools always cost more than childminders.
Averagely you get 35 - 40 pounds for a half day session of 5 hours (7.30 - 1 pm, or 1 - 6 pm), full days are in the 65 pounds and above range.
And that's if you secure a place in one convenient for you in the first place.
I'm reasonably aware of the situation in Aberdeen because I'm helping a family member settle in there. As the previous poster said, the ELC entitlement in Scotland is 1140 hours, so my niece will qualify by January and they're even having trouble finding a nursery school reasonably close to them that has space for January.

Keep looking.
Why do you want to live close to your university? To save on transport costs? Everyone else has the same idea, so property around there would probably be at a premium.

Expand your search. The university is not necessarily the nexus around which you should structure your stay, you and your wife will want to get jobs, which could be anywhere, etc. etc. All you need is a place that is well-served by bus links and from where you can get to your university and any other potential locations of interest reasonably quickly. Except where either of you have mobility issues, factor in some walking into your transport options.

I think your budget matters too.

You will get a £800 - £1000 PCM close to school that accepts couple and they may require 6months upfront undecided or a guarantor

Good Morning room... Pls I want to clarify an issue. Is it possible for a brother to be a dependent or apply as a dependent.
Secondly, my brother will travel to UK on a study visa this year. He is in his early 20s in age. Can he invite or bring his senior brother to the UK to be living with him as a dependant?
Thirdly, on what visa would a brother apply for if he is to join his other younger brother in the UK?
Also, Is it true that I can live with my younger brother in UK while he is studying?
