Onuachu is in the mold of Dzeko and Giroud, your team have to play to their strength for them to thrive which is not the case with the super Eagles especially with our weak and average midfield.
Onuachu is a better goal scorer than Osimehn, especially his positional play.

Osimhen is a better player!! no two ways about it, poachers are underrated nowadays, you have to be an all round striker for top clubs to take you seriously, now look at those two player you compared him to Giroud and Dzeko, we all know about Giroud's limitations, let me talk about dzeko, at his prime he was a good goal scorer but underrated for his level, why? because he did not bring much asides goal scoring.

Big clubs want strikers that chase loose balls, press defenders, scores, make assist, the era of waiting for services from midfielders to score is almost over, that is why poachers are underrated.

check the stats of Eran Zahavi, a very good goal scorer but criminally underrated, why ? because he is just a poacher nothing more.

I will start Osimhen and bring in Onuachu late into the second half when our opponents think they have figured us out, because the two strikers have different characteristics and qualities and BOOM, onuachu will shock them!

Someone needs to sit Osimhen down and show him videos of Ronaldo at Barcelona in 1997. He has the speed, all he needs his to develop the skills and confidence. He had a chance against Sampdoria where he should have dribbled the keeper but he shot the ball and missed instead.

you really get the whole gist!! there are many posts here that depict subtle allegiance to tribal affiliation instead of going for objectivity.

we have seen onuachu played for Nigeria many times with average to below average input, I am still surprised he still get call ups, iheanacho is still higher than him in the pecking order for the national team. Nacho is the most technical in our forward line.

Proven goal scoring records at where ?

I will start Osimhen.....Onuachu ....i doubt if Onuachu cant score five goals in France not to talk of Italy. Even though Osimhen is not scoring...his work rate is better than Onuachu, the former has got speed, heading abilities, and accurate passes....the latter lacked all these.

Alll depends on tactics....onachu is the traditional old skul kinds striker who will always want to get into the ball in the box....osinhmen looks traditional sometimes too but he has a fast feet and can drop into spaces to carry the ball....osihmen is good but will thrive around and in a firing team...with the calibre of quality Nigeras in attack with Musa....Kalu....chukwueze....victor will do well of they get on the ball often....onachu on the other side needs the ball thrown at him ...that will work sometimes but against some robust afrian defence it will fail....i will go for victor who can run at pple....fairly good with goals and can cause problems with fast movement...something onachu don't really have...

A Strikers job is to score goals and he has been banging it in..

Strikers comes in different sizes and shapes..

He doesn't have to been an Usain Bolt for him to be a good Striker..

And if you as a Coach is not getting the best out of him,then you should be blamed for doing a shoddy job..

Do we have the Napoli midfield, do we have the Genk midfield.?

Who is our top assist merchant in that Eagles team because both Osimen and Onuachu have paltry assists so far. That is they do not create much but are beneficiaries of creative play so it is pointless comparing these men without having the package deal of a Lorenzo Insigne, Hirving Lozano or the masterclass of a certain Fabian Ruiz in the Eagles squad or the equivalent in the Genk squad.

Your reasoning is so inconsistent. Has Onuachu played anywhere close to the level Victor Osimhen has played at? Osimhen proved himself at the same level as Onuachu and proved himself there at a much younger age. He is the world record holder goal scorer at u17, and is one of our top contributors in afcon qualifying.

How you can seriously say Osimhne has not proven himself compared to OPnuachu is completely baffling.

This is not even a real debate. Look at the career progression of the two players. Why do coaches both national team and those in big leagues prefer Osimhen even though Onuachu has been around longer?
