I have always said it that AJ can't face wilder nor fury. He has slow leg movement and can't evade punches. Wilder is similar to AJ but has a wicked right hand punch which scares opponents and if it lands it's almost game over for them. Fury is very cunning in the ring, he can evade, move well and he is very tactical in the ring with high ring IQ. That's why he has beaten wilder twice with the 1st bout robbed as a draw for wilder in the 2nd bout, wilder was smoked by fury who is very tactical. AJ is just not that technical and smart ring wise as fury is to know when to switch tactics if plan A is not working. Now you know why AJ refused to make the unification bout with fury work out, like wise against bronze bomber (wilder). He will keep dodging those two guys but will be beaten by under rated smart guys like usky, Ruiz. How can AJ explain that usky a cruiserweight moved up rank and without upto 10 fight at heavyweight weight class beat the then champion (AJ) who has fought more than say 15 heavyweight class fights!!

The coaching crew were even telling him to relax at some point instead of encouraging him to go for the killer. If he really wanted to, he could have knocked out Usyk between round 6 and 8. He landed
some punches that distablized his opponent but he refused to follow up for possible knockout. He didn't want to receive punches! Who does that on a night like this?
If he had taken a little more risk, the fight wouldn't get to round 11.

If only AJ had the heart of Israel Adesanya who said in a very difficult match, "I am ready to die". He didn't die eventually. But AJ was too careful not to receive punches and this costed him all his belts, at least temporarily.

I had this thought too but it doesn't seem convincing. This is the guy that has been working a lot on his punches and stamina but yet none of them factored in.

I'm not really a boxing fan but due to Usyk unbeaten record and fast rise from cruiserweight to heavyweight, I was so curious to watch this fight. Usyk was brilliant, fast, technical and an excellent pound to pound fighter. AJ has the power, the height, got advantage in the jabs but couldn't keep up to the pace of Usyk. Should I blame AJ training routine or should I say Usyk is better than AJ? Well it's such a shame he lost disgracefully in front of English fans but I believe he will revoke the rematch clause and maybe hopefully, retain back his belts but this Usyk I just watched isn't Andy Ruiz. This guy means business and I see so much ambitions in his eyes
