FOR YOUR INFORMATION

Don't pay rent in Dollars, Euros or Pounds. Don't listen to agents telling you rents are in thr above currencies. All TRNC citizens pay rent in TL they don't pay in hard currencies and recently the country encourage landlord to take rent in Turkish Lira(TL) don't convert TL to Euro or Dollars it's going to be higher! Don't listen to them

A free tip for people coming to Léfkosa

Ask anyone you are going to Hamitkoy, There are student dormitories around Hamitkoy between the range of 1000-1500 TL

Walk Into their office and make payment. Accommodation ranges for 5months - 12 months

Both deposit and rent are in TL

1 deposit, 5-12months rent and No commission

There are so many of them in lefkosa region

God Bless you bro! Pls can I pm you

Hi prof.Wip7. Great job you are doing here particularly, for Doctoral researchers. I am in need of a book called - Understanding Solid state physics, problems and solutions by Jacques Cazaux. It is available on Taylor and Francis, albeit I don't have Taylor's subscription yet to download the full book except a preview. Can please help me in this regard?

Thank you very much.

Taylor and Francis is the publisher of this book. I have a subscription to their articles, but you can only download books if you purchase them.

That's true. Forgive my misgivings. The librarian where I research, has placed an order for the book.

No visa application form just fill the appointment and get the visa form when you get to their office.

You can contact Voyavisa directly via email and phone.
hello boss good evening i went to voya visa center at abj today, the lady checked my doc and asked that I request for an acceptance letter from Near east university issued in Turkish language, i have asked around and was told nothing like that, that the acceptance comes in English language. What would you advise, should i be looking for a translated letter or i should forget about it and go for OKTB asap?

Voyavisa's employees in Nigeria are ludicrous, and I believe they are under-educated when it comes to travel abroad.

Several students, including two of my students going to Turkey, have written me about absurd demands and unjustified requests from the Voyavisa Nigerian branches in Lagos and Abuja. Because you are not a Turkish citizen, your education will be conducted in English and NEU, and all universities in Cyprus write general admission/acceptance letters in English for international students, as they should. Only Turkish and Cypriot citizens receive letters of approval in Turkish.

Almost every university in Cyprus has a webpage where you can check the validity of any admission letter, so I'm not sure what that person at Voyavisa will do with a Turkish acceptance letter for a Nigerian whose official language is English. Because a valid acceptance letter has the signature of the registrar/university Vice-rector as well as a bar code, which your translated version will not have, translating your acceptance letter to Turkish will render it invalid.

So, if NEU is willing to do so, request a Turkish version of the acceptance letter... Otherwise, rather than wasting your time with such irrational demands, try OKTB.

If you are okay with the person and he or she has a proof of those that successfully arrived with it then it’s up to you.

Generally, before now OKTB takes one way ticket but due to issues encounter with the users and sending the travelers back then that results in the return tickets. So give it a try!

Best wishes

Depends on if such person is traveling alone.

A Travel Consent Letter is used when a child is travelling alone, with only one parent/legal guardian.

This document notifies authorities or other interested parties that the parent has given their consent for the child to travel without them.

If such person is admitted into the university and have admission letter and visa already; the letter is not necessary.

If the 16 year old is accompanying one of the parents or another person; may be required.

to whom should it be addressed

To Whom it may concern

and what information should it contain

General information nothing specific. But may include:

Parent/Guardian names and personal information.

Destination being travelled to, dates of travel, and dates of return.

Airline details.

Signed authorization of consent by Parents/Legal guardians.

A signature and seal by the Notary Public

COVID-19 Tracker upon arrival in Cyprus

After paying 750 TL you will be given a tracker which must be worn throughout your home quarantine.

One of my students arrived to Cyprus from Nigeria through OKTB this morning. Here is the tracker given to him.

Very important: only confirm your location when you have arrived at your destination. See attached for his problem where he mistakenly confirmed his location at airport.

Please is it that the normal quarantine location of the school is not available or why did your student opt for this option?

New student arrival last night to TRNC from Dark Red country

So two new students arrived yesterday, specifically from Kenya. They already have a rented apartment letter with them and were only asked if there is someone in this apartment which they said NO. They only paid 750 TL which 350 TL will be refunded as tracker fee. They are asked to quarantine in their homes. I just spoke with them from their apartment.

Those with no proof of accommodation were asked to go to hotel and they will bear the hotel cost themselves.

Please ensure your PCR test is valid upon arrival and possibly have a bank card with you.
Please I need an accomodation
