I swear it's not this guy's fault, it is the media giving bandits platforms to yarn their dust that should be blamed. What other proof is needed to accept that the guy is also a bandit or at the very least a collaborator? Yet they keep inviting him because of the sensationalism and the traffic it would generate for them.

I swear I didn't used to be biased because I grew up in a place where there are different cultures and religion, and it was like a vast big happy place. But this present administration and certain omissions and commissions has started making me draw negative opinions about fulani muslims.

Gumi is simply diversionary. Ask him what his opinion is about the bandits asking all primary and secondary schools to shutdown and convert to islamic schools.
Bandits and Boko Haram share a single ideology i.e an Islamic State in place of a Nigerian State

Not all muslim tho
It has to do with culture, when a culture supports fanaticism, that's what u get.
If not, why aren't Muslim from the south doing terrorism or supporting them.
When u have a Saudi Arabia kinda society u will get wat u have in the north.
The fanatism in the north is on another level, it only rival the ones in Saudi where public execution is the norm in the city square.

Sometimes I wonder the kind of weed people smoke in this part of the world.
The same Muslims or northerners that are being killed are the ones supporting terrorism?
How does sheikh Gumi represent millions of northerners but Sanusi or even Emir Sokoto doesn't

Wrong, Akintola is not the head/face of muslims in the west.
He didn't occupy any position in the muslim committee in the south west.
U can check the internet yourself.
He is just a self appointed muslim human right activist.

Not everyone is a fanatic in the north, but there is a handful of religion fundamentalist there. If most people re clean as you claim, terrorism and banditary wont even flourish, no be some people be their informant and foot soldiers am sure they re not foreigners.

The problem with Islamic terrorism is Islam. Muslims that are not fundamentalists are not following the Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad.

There is nothing Boko Haram, ISIS, ISWAP and other terrorists group do that Prophet Muhammad did not do. If you wish to eradicate terrorism, then you need to eradicate Islam. It really is a terrible religion.

Can the Accusers drop a verse in the Quran that supports Terrorism? I guess UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain are not Muslim/Arab Countries.

Nairaland has damaged senses of most Nigerian Youths. They rather blindly believe gibberish as facts, as far as it suits their Emotion.

If you want to argue Terrorism, Extremism from Religion point of view, both Muslims and Christians are no Saints.

LMFAO.......... can you back up your Allegations with facts?

......Consider the Book of 1 Samuel, when God instructs King Saul to attack the Amalekites: "And utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them," God says through the prophet Samuel. "But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey."

When Saul failed to do that, God took away his kingdom.

"In other words," Jenkins says, "Saul has committed a dreadful sin by failing to complete genocide. And that passage echoes through Christian history. It is often used, for example, in American stories of the confrontation with Indians — not just is it legitimate to kill Indians, but you are violating God's law if you do not."

Thinking of associated costs one must rmbr the support platforms. The dedicated anti sub chopper, the Lynx which we've seen here with Saffas and Algerians starts at 50 mn $, 2 mn $ yearly. Ideally at least a half squadron of 6 land based with min 2 anti sub or multi purpose frigates just for the Gulf of Guinea : corvettes WON'T cut it! Smth with BOTH deck space and internal volume for the sensitive sensor packages and personnel to man them.
For minimum wahala ofc you'd go Chinese. The Type 054a starts at 500mn $ costing 33 mn $ annually. Minimum, ofc is 2 ideally 3. Incl increased base housing for all these guys plus support people in your costs.
Don't forget at least a thousand sonabouys yearly for training and a couple more ATR 72s, a 60 mn $ ac at 6 mn annually, with MADs, Magnetic Anomaly Detector. Its ALWAYS good to have a hi and low option for your fighting platforms. This is the high end for finding subs, the Lynx being the low option.

All prices: [/http://nationsdawnofanera.weebly.com/-maritime-patrol-aircraft.html]

The biggest risk in sub ops ISN'T just financial but geostrategic risk. You do KNOW the major sub powers are ruthless MOFOS! Jean-Fraude WON'T take kindly to local usurpers in his back yard. Expect a secret enemy sub attack or sabotage disguised as a terrible accident or poor maintenance.
It happens all the time!
You've heard of Russian sub sinkings but there are actually quite a few. Indonesia lost a German made 209 late April.

Late 2017 Argentina also lost a similar Diesel Electric Type 1700.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-46245686/url]

In 2013 the Syrians sunk an Impostor Dolphin though some say another was also lost 2 yrs later in the Med. The Israelis admitted nothing. In 1968 they lost the Dakar secretly sunk by the USN after they wilfully attacked the USS Liberty in the Red Sea during the 6 day war hoping the US would blame Egypt.

What with the ENORMOUS financial outlay and geopolitical risk in form of sabotage or secret attack forget this ISHYT!

Unless Uncle Putin for some reason likes you.

That's a once in a lifetime chance the Phil's will jump on. Imagine they've NOT even a single frigate and will need a few plus MPAs to develop sub doctrines.
Anyway, how many here still think Naij needs subs after seeing all direct, indirect costs, BH/ISWAP demands and VERY real geopolitical risks?

I mentioned the Phils' Russian sub deal for a reason. It's underway it seems, delayed by the 'Ronadrama. Their Navy chief talked about a "Integrated Logistical Support Package."

When technologically demanding platforms are acquired or from an OEM or agent there's a whole host of technical support details included in the contract. It deals with EVERYTHING from system safety, training of support crew , spare parts supply, handling and storage of said parts etc, etc all to extend the service life and reduce costs.

Integrated logistic support (ILS) is a technology in the system engineering to lower a product life cycle cost and decrease demand for logistics by the maintenance system optimization to ease the product support. Although originally developed for military purposes, it is also widely used in commercial customer service organisations.[1]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_logistics_support

The budget for the PN's submarine acquisition program is placed at PHP70 billion. To be acquired are two submarines along with its integrated logistics support package (ILS).

"The budget for the submarine acquisition program is PHP70 billion, for two submarines and for the ILS, for the logistics support and also for some ports wherein they can accommodate the submarine, that's the package, but regarding the details as to who will be the contractor, we have not reached that part because that will be determined in the bidding," Bacordo said.

Will this increase the final cost price? HELLZ YEAH!? Can you dispense with ILSP costs with respect to such logistically demanding platforms?
I DON'T think so!

Nemesis4u, tell us the IN experience if you can the ILSP component in the costing of your own Kilos.
