Did you consider the minutes in played and the position in played. I have seen this theory played some many times in the past and fabregas is one very good example. Coutinho in this Chelsea side under Tuchel cannot be worse than the ones presently playing for us.

I feel so sorry for lukaku, so many times in the game he made important runs, opening his body and signaling for through passes but none was given to him apart from that rudiger's pass that he was an inch offside.

Loftus-cheek on so many occasions had opportunities to play a direct through pass to Big ROM but he will do a 360 or 180 and pass backwards or sideways.

For big ROM to be a beast in front of goal, defense splitting through passes either short or long must be given to him.
He is good in the air, but the wingbacks are so lackadaisical and sluggish to give him something on the air to hustle and fight for.

It is very clear from the body language of the players that none of them is willing to give him through passes. He should just jettisoned the idea of through passes coming in from his teammates and starts hustling and taking on players himself and outside 18 shots.

The better agenda should have been Jorginho changed the game. Midfield solidity, Top shape and an actual redcard which allowed us to play with an extra man but I wont do that cos hey who am I fooling?.
