You should also know that some people only come here to complain when they are facing issues. People barely talk about the good sides of their devices here anymore unlike 2 years back. If you like the phone go for it.

You manage your data yourself. You have a phone with a good antenna so it is expected. Just turn off access to data to apps you don't use frequently from security app>data usage

9A is a disaster. Probably the worst Xiaomi phone ever made. I have one and I must say it has been a nasty experience so far.
