[quote author=hopcious post=106480586]Please, don't waste your money to book a flight ahead. It is not advisable and the embassy does not encourage such also. [/quote Thank you very much sir |

hopcious:reservation is different from booking for payment for normal flight of about 150k.There are paid reservation of about 15 to 20k, that's what I mean to check if truly you did reservation, some people might be lucky to get visa for the free booking and am telling you some might not be lucky, cos at times the free reservation might be on hold as at the time the embassy is verifying it. |

Evidenx:Maybe your best bet, (which I also use by the way) is Peer to Peer. Find someone who also needs Rands and you 2 can swap. |

I've done about 6 SA visa applications for myself and colleagues and we've never used a paid reservation. Free booking has always been sufficient and the visas were granted. If you have the money, there is no crime is going for the paid reservation also to boost your application. Anu24: |

Please how did you go about this appeal? Did you have to pay for another appointment? Or you just went to VFS with the denial letter and you were allowed in? Please anyone with these answers can also assist. So my mum was denied for same reason of bank statement not valid for 3 months and now we have even gotten statement for 6 months. Documents submitted were: -Invitation from my brother who’s a resident stating he was sponsoring the trip and included all his docs and statement (we didn’t include my mum’s statement because he was sponsoring the trip, could that be an issue?) -The filled request form and her own documents. Good morning all, please does anyone know how I can contact the SA embassy in Lagos? Email or phone number? I submitted application for a one year study visa 2 months ago (August 15) at the vfs in Lekki and up till now, no response. I have tried to track my application on the vfs website but it says 'not found'. Problem is that I need my passport in November, exactly 4 weeks from now. Is there a possibility that it will be held for another one month? If so, how can I make a request for expedited action on my visa processing. What is the usual wait time? Thank you very much |

Hello Kudos to all the amazing guys contributing immensely to this Thread. Please I have a question and would appreciate an honest answer . I was surfing online this afternoon looking for legit invitation from Belarus when I stumbled on a blog. This blog was talking about SA EVisa and from the list of Eligible countries I saw NIgeria. I had to visit the EVisa site link and behold I saw NIgeria there on list of passport holding countries. My question is could this be for real? Has any one got SA EVisa and travel with same?

royalfrank007:You can apply for a short course in CPUT, Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town. I have gotten people into South Africa via CPUT, NETACAD/ICT Academy program. It is a good program in association with Cisco. |
