I had the same form as well. The bank did not tell me to open a dom account to send money to cibc when I commenced the process.
Someone also already explained here earlier how he did his using form A or so...
Maybe bank differs. Some details required by cibc in the form were filled by my bank themselves.

Any which way, All must be well!!!

For future reference which bank please?

I agree with this
viviangogos:
Yes ooo it is not a compulsory document. Thank you for clarifying this. I once mentioned this here but I guess almost everyone on NL is grtting police clearance certificate for SP.

Me and my friends that applied to Canada did not do it and they have all gotten their SPs and I am awaiting mine.

It's just one way of showing proof of fund. You're right at the bold, but where full tuition is paid and GIC covers living expenses for the entire study duration, the VO will not have concerns that the funds may not be accessible.
I agree though. it helps especially concerns about the money being accessible to the applicant especially lump sum but who am I.Frank has way more experience than us all but Lump sum is an issue this days

I’m going to the province. We can connect

But still awaiting visa
did you get admitted to TRU? If yes did your university send transcript before the letter of acceptance and how long since you started your visa processing. I just got an offer from TRU but I’m yet to pay tuition deposit and send transcript

Hello Tinakem

The bolded is actually very funny....

Ask the person to tell you where it is stated that "disturbing them too much" will lead to a refusal.. When the person gets an IRCC source, then you can come back here to update me..

Now note: So far your application has passed the IRCC processing time for study permit and also if your resumption date is getting close, you have every right to send them as many mails as possible...

We have many applicants here and those I helped with their applications who sent as many as 10 mails everyday, and within a short while, they got updates on their application... I had a particular applicant early this year who I was guiding, I told him to send at least 5 mails everyday, but cos of his worry on his delayed application, he actually sent 10-15 mails everyday to at least 10 IRCC Visa centres and also sent several mails to his MP.. He got Medical request the next week he started and got his PPR the 3rd week...

The only time it is not appropriate to "disturb" them with mails is when your application has not passed the processing time...

Whites are not like we Africans that see things like this as disturbance.... You are not disturbing them, you are simply reminding them of your delayed application which supposed to have been finalised cos it has actually passed the processing time...

Let us all be guided...

Peace
what is the standard processing time?.90 days from Biometrics I guess?

Hello house, can my uncle drop his company’s bank account for me because I want to use him as my sponsor. I used his personal bank statement in my previous application that was denied tho my GCMC note is yet to arrive. We are not the same surname. Since I used his personal bank statement in my previous application he said I will use both his company and personal statement now, will that be enough? His personal bank statement that I used his closing account then was 15M. Please I need suggestions.
@Makano
I think u have to demonstrate ur relationship with him with evidence and y he will want to sponsor a niece or nephew as the case may be.this is a 3rd party sponsorship. He has to also make some commitments like either paying ur school fees or something. Family tree comes handy here too to proof relationship

Okay thanks, I can say he (my uncle) and my parents sponsored me financially during my undergraduate study?
that's not evidence bro .You need to demonstrate ur relationship with him.old pictures ,birth certificate, family tree etc.this is 3rd party sponsorship. its different from parents, spouse or siblings

I don't advice you use his company account I think that's even less believable. I think the funds is manageable. It's your relationship with your uncle you should try to prove. I believe your ability to prove it might just help you get the visa. Good luck
if he can submit both account, it's good too cos that 15m balance for a 3rd party sponsor with dependents may be small oo.

On finance,

the program is a fully funded PhD covering tuition and allowances including research assistantship. We added his personal bank statements as well. The only lump deposit that came from his sister was backed with gift deed and letter of support. We as well showed proof of relationship

Purpose of visit...
We explained that as well. He just finished his masters this July and going immediately for a PhD in the same course.

Immigration status
He is legally in China as he has continued with a PhD program in his school. Visa has been renewed and we attached passport pages and police clearance certificate.

We dont know what else IRCC wants.
wow.to me that imigration reason may be valid except if our gurus feel otherwise. He is in China to study nd has renewed his study Visa nd presently doing same PHD in China, what is his purpose of coming to Canada ?. Am just thinking what probably the V.O may b thinking

Please I have Two questions one 4 me and one for a friend
1. I forgot to state in my SOP and letter of explanation, how my wife and kid will survive while I am away studying, though I put my wife's employment letter there but did not submit her statement of account. IS this bad.also I did not talk about them when addressing my social ties.but I definitely added their birth certificate, pictures (including wedding pictures) and marriage certificate. is it bad I did not Adress it in my SOP

2. My friend is thinking of applying but wants to know if having dreadlocks is red flag.not everyone with dreads is a Yahoo guy ooo. This one has a gymn,an art studio and is into photography but is a graduate of English and literature.
has anyone gotten PPR with dreadlocks ?
is having dreads a red flag?

if you’re already present in canada and have started school then you can transfer schools otherwise you need a fresh application for a new DLI.
