I don't know what those discriminating against ebonyi people tend to achieve

This is very true, recalled when I was in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, the Igbo community refused to enlist Ebonyi people from their Igbo Football League. My friend Emeka from Ebonyi complained bitterly then cos he was really interested in playing that tournament.

This typical of Anambra people. Always talking trash about other Igbos. Abakiliki people this and that, Owerri People this and that. Even a typicàl Anambra mother will no allow her son or daughter marry and Imo person. They attribute crime to Ebonyi people. Yet na then fetish pass and get less exposure pass. Lol My stay in Anambra opened my eyes to how much Anambra people hate other Igbos.

I was in Ebonyi for one year NYSC service about 11 years ago and leaving in the state capital is opportunity for me to clearly see that Umahi is 100% correct. The hatered other Igbos have for Ebonyans may make you think they are enemies from heaven forced to marry each other.

Umahi did not tell lies...The truth is that Ebonyi people are looked down on and marginalised in the southeast by other igbos especially anambra people. It is not about shouting and insulting Umahi. This is a bare faced fact and this is one of my problems with the Igbo tribe... They are always discriminating against their own, not realizing that creation of states is an artificial barrier done by the elite fulani. Before states were created, we just had towns. Oooh he is from Abiriba, she's and Nnewi woman, he's from Afikpo etc.
This type of state discrimination is something you will NEVER find among the yoruba and hausa/fulani. They are sensible to know that state creation is an artificial barrier. Truly, this is one of the reasons biafra might not be fair to all.. I know someone that didnt marry a nice man, because her people said 'obu onye Abakaliki'! They somehow feel they were superior to them.
