I worked with a super millionaire in Dolphin Estate. He travelled out of the country and kept about 1.5m cash with me to be disbursing to people he wanted to help. At that time in was struggling to pay for my son's WAEC registration. I sent an email requesting for a loan of 10k from my boss. He turned me down straightaway. I vex, and I took 10k from the money he kept with me. When he came back, I explained to him that I was frustrated to take the 10k that he should deduct it from my salary. He said he didn't give me approval to take from his money and that am a thief. I tried to explain that if I don't pay the WAEC money at that time and the registration closes, it means that my son would not write WAEC that year. He refused to listen to my excuse. The following day, na mouth he take sack me o.

That's rich life

He just invest in people in the name of "help" knowing truly, one way the other he will one day rip the profit

Might be he didn't see what he could get if he invest his money in your son's education, in the name of help.

Very touching story.

But I'm sure, he was fond of short time investment.... Typical African Rich

Had he assisted your son, and sponsored his education.... He would be God to you and your son for several years

What do you need time for yourself for?
Na that quest for immediate gratification de make ppl poor and ppl like you always blame others for their predicament when the consequences of their actions start manifesting.
With this yarn,I'm sure you're not Igbo grin
So far good money is coming,I'd rather not have time for myself and maybe retire early at 50 than loaf around in the name having time for myself.

General difference between Rich and poor is simple.

Poor is held in the chains of religion

Rich is holding the chain of religion

Rich work while poor pray

Rich is sad while poor is happy

Your last statement is why you'll never be rich...

Imagine someone feeling fly and entitled to someone's money... It's this entitlement mentality that discourages me from helping a lot of people.

No matter how many times you help, that once you failed to help, you become stingy.

They wouldn't remember other times you help them, nor even attempt to pay back their loan.

They expect you to forget it. After all, you're rich!!!

What i know is dat majority of them are very stingy

If u re working under them(the billionaires and the multimillionaires) and u urgently need a help of let say 20k( maybe for the CS of one's wife) don't be surprised wen they tell u dey can only lend u 12k and at the end of the month deduction of the 12k is is the first alert u wil get before the salary alert
Quite very true!
But from my observation, constantly becoming victim of scam and ingrates usually made them turnout that way.
Work with an elite with an open mind and never have entitlement mentality. At some point even reject their unnecessary gift and they will get to respect you more!
And lastly, honesty is a sure ticket to their hearts even though themselves are mostly crooks!

i disagree with you when you said "the rich live like everyother person"

Or maybe should I say that your boss is not that super rich. Sincerely speaking, Elites, super rich people like you put it, have serious issues, they don't live like every other person.

I summarised everything, money is not everything, peace of mind is key also.

I worked with the person for over 6 months and mine really had no closing time, I was basically wherever the person is even if it means travelling and most of the travelling were impromptu, I could finally have a time to sleep and within 4mins a call would come in “meet us at the airport in 30mins, we are going to Benin”

My free time which was mostly small was always used to finalise works done on outings, it’s something you can’t understand until you finally do such job.

Your time become their time and the pay ain’t even equal to the job even though it was around 400k then but I wasn’t really able to do another job even wasn’t able to run my own personal company then.

No work schedule
No time frame.
