SOUTH AFRICA AND NIGERIA ARE RIVALS . NIGERIA IS LEADING IN THE FIELD OF CORRUPTION BUT SOUTH AFRICA IS CATCHING UP. THE FACT THAT A GOVERNMENT MINISTER, IN SOUTH AFRICA, SHOULD EXPRESS OUTRAGE, OVER WHAT IN NIGERIA BARELY QUALIFIES AS GRADE C CORRUPTION , SHOWS THAT SOUTH AFRICA STILL HAS A LONG WAY TO GO. |

KingCold:Hosting a world cup in a country with 30-50% unemployment is not a brilliant strategy in social and economic development. I agree African cultures are not homogenous but the majority of them have failed in modern social and economic development. Your post highlights the key reasons why so many o African countries fail to develop you listed the SA achievements in the construction of roads, airports, universities etc as symbols of the black government policies and progress. I agree that the country needs the infrastructures, but the priority must be the delivery of security, clean water, primary education and primary healthcare. |

I always try to ignore them but something in me just can't stand the constant negative comments about blackness, it's as if Nigerians feed of these negative stories of Africa forgetting there are a lot of positive things happening around the continent. And don't get me started with their worship of white people, if they could live in RSA they'll be amazed that their beloved whites aren't as pure as they might think TMKsouth:...and now the Black government have the chance to correct the wrong of the past and are even worst than the White people, Black government bringing outsiders to steal their country wealth. If we fail to judge ourselves we will continue to repeat the same mistake. |

sulaak:The world cup created construction jobs and some remain for maintenance. The world cup legacy has also boosted tourism numbers and revenue, not to mention international confidence in the country. And because we can walk and chew gum at the same time in SA, we've also improved the quality of life for most South Africans. Shine your eyes below... ![]()

theTranscriber:Appreciate where they come from as a people before pressuring them to be a Singapore. They were once the 3rd poorest country in the world Anyway, the richest tribe in Africa, the Royal Bafokeng, are also Tswanas (my people ). We should actually be the IMF of Africa as a people. Every African country should have us run their treasuries.ps. Btv is hella boring. |

sulaak:When has SA failed to judge itself? Zuma was kicked out of office through mass public demonstrations. And then he was jailed for dodging accountability for his role with the Guptas. And these stadium guys are being probed and will definitely be prosecuted. So what are u on about really? |

TMKsouth: ![]() IMF of Africa ![]() yeah it's really boring especially to me,I only really like the dances they sometimes show I don't seem to understand why you guys SA and Botswana can't speak one language at a time. you like mixing English with other languages it makes it difficult to watch, even on twitter and Facebook you guys mix languages a lot what about "Now" is it boring too? |
