The problem now is that I applied academy again and I made it(73rc), but I'm supposed to be happy, I'm not happy, I'm sad, I'm depressed, can't get it together, don't really know what's wrong with me, is it normal guys? 7 Likes |

Redemption1: In the 70s my father was in NDA, the gist was that my grandfather, a retired commissioner of police and a member of the state house of assembly, withdrew my father from NDA, because then been in the military wasn't really fashionable, but when my father's mate in the NDA they are far retired now in the early 2000s , sit down at occasions and throw old boys jives, they say he ran away, I would go with my grandfather withdrawing him . My father later left Nigeria for university education, came back and joined the navy, he was the first accountant in the Nigerian navy, surprisingly, the rank difference between him and his NDA coursemates wasn't that much.... just be focused and learn from your mistakes, this sad past, is a future story you will laugh about.... since my father, now my nephew is in his 3rd year in NDA, and I'm sure the next generation would still serve. 8 Likes |

Redemption1: My advice for you is to be on a low key, those boys you chawus when they were clowns will come for your head and mind you your former course mate will not even look at your side, give it a thorough thought, wish you all the best. Let me share this story with you. Sometimes in the Academy more than 10 years ago, there was a young lecturer who taught cadets but he decided to join via SSC , he eventually got it. Could you believe that his students almost killed him, to the extent that he couldn't continue, he served job through out the night for 3days consecutively he couldn't sleep for 72 hrs, Baba almost ran mad. Baba later dash. The essence of my epistle is that you should know what you want to get your self in. Though having spent 3years in the Academy is sufficient for you to prepare for the worse, but you never can tell what those boys in the Academy are up to. By and large, I wish you all the best in any decisions you eventually taken. 3 Likes |

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved N13.3 billion for the take-off of the Community Policing initiative across the country. The president made this known at the opening of a two-day Mid-Term Ministerial Performance Review Retreat organized to assess progress made towards the achievement of the nine key priorities of his administration on Monday in Abuja. President Buhari stated that the approval was part of measures to consolidate efforts aimed at enhancing security nationwide. “We have also approved the sum of N13.3 billion for the take-off of the Community Policing initiative across the country, as part of measures adopted to consolidate efforts aimed at enhancing security nationwide,’’ he said. He also announced that the Ministry of Defence had been instructed to create a modest military-industrial complex for the local production of weapons to meet some of the requirements of the country’s armed forces. The president explained that the establishment of the industrial complex would address Nigeria’s over-dependence on other countries for military equipment and logistics. According to him, the project is being implemented under the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), a military department responsible for arms manufacture. In other efforts to strengthen national security, Buhari said it was gratifying to note that Nigeria had received six A-29 Super Tucano. He said the propeller-driven aircraft are being used for training, surveillance and attack by the military. ‘‘As part of the efforts towards strengthening our national security, we have increased investments in arms, weapons and other necessary equipment; expanded the National Command and Control Centre to nineteen states of the Federation; and established a Nigerian Police Trust Fund, which will significantly improve funding for the Nigeria Police Force. ‘‘We have also approved the sum of N13.3 billion for the take-off of the Community Policing initiative across the country, as part of measures adopted to consolidate efforts aimed at enhancing security nationwide,’’ he said. On the Power Sector, President Buhari noted that the implementation of a ‘Willing Buyer-Willing Seller’ Policy had opened up opportunities for increased delivery of electricity to underserved homes and industries. He expressed the hope that the execution of critical projects through the Transmission Rehabilitation and Expansion Programme, would result in achieving the national goal of improved power supply by 2025. On the Petroleum Industry Act signed into law on Aug. 16, the president reiterated his directive to the Implementation Committee to complete all processes for the successful operationalization of the Act within 12 months. President Buhari further revealed that he approved the expansion of the National Social Register (NSP) by one million additional households to empower the youth and other vulnerable groups in the country. The NSP is the official database for the implementation of the Conditional Cash Transfer programme. He equally expressed his readiness to join in discussions on the best approach and strategies to implement planned policies, programmes and projects that could significantly diversify the economy away from its dependence on oil revenue, while sustaining the current economic growth trajectory. Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Stormtrooper11(m): 10:59am On Oct 12, 2021 |
kemicalreact: Now, an Autoloader stores ammunition in the Turret rack. Any penetration of explosive, then the Tank will explode due to the stored ammunition. There will be a jack-in-the-box effect. I learnt Autoloader break down in battle and can't change shell types between shots. It still feels weird, because the usage of autoloaders is supposed to be an advantage and advancement in tank Warfare. 3 Likes 1 Share |

It will be only a matter of time before BHT/ISWAP will start cannibalizing captured armoured vehicles to do this. In the pic, Houthi mounted a BTR-80A Turret on Toyota pickup in Yemen
