I experienced similar thing some weeks ago

I went for test 3 times and recommended medications taken. But after a while it persisted

it might be allergy, it comes with a slight tingling on your throat and then ...the cough comes.

It's not Vitamin E they administer to covid patients, its Vitamin D. The dosage for Vitamin C and Zinc you wrote too are wrong. Its usually more to boost your immune system to combat the virus.

Sorry dear. It could be a case of viral upper respiratory tract infection. So I don't think antibiotics will be very helpful to you. Its usually self limiting

But it seems while I take the medications, the cough worsens especially at night. I don't really experience any other symptom apart from loss of appetite.

When you have a dry cough and you come home from work hungry but they bring food and you begin to look @ the food like a pile of dry cow dung...think of TB.

I've experienced this a couple of times, most times I'm told by a doctor it's usually due to an allergy. I also noticed that it gets better with antibiotics, very annoying cough.
Anyway, go and see a doctor. You may also try honey and bitter kola combo. It's quite effective.

Why antibiotics in the first place. Most coughs are not from a bacterial source. Now you have use at least 3 antibiotics in 7days

if you are experiencing lose of smell and taste, it's definitely COVID !
Just get strong malaria drugs and observe covid 19 rules. You will be fine.

OP don't joke with this advice, when I experienced same some time ago in August, most of these were what my doctor Friend prescribed for me, and it works. Especially Vitamin C, Azithromycin and antimalarial drugs.

Unproductive cough is also known as dry cough where the patient doesn't produce sputum

While a cough is said to be productive when there's substantial sputum production
