Its small... 30KCAD is the required amount expected of an applicant to have..

And I assume this amount here is less than 30KCAD, so work on your Funds.. Prolly get a close relation who is capable of sponsoring the applicant..

Please I wanted to ask is [b]8.5M too small [/b]for study permit application cause a friend got denied the general reason was cause of financial status and personal assets and she also had landed documents and has paid first semester school fees. From what I know the money should be enough nto pay second semester fees and accomodations for a year and still remain
I just want to know if we need more before she reapplies or we just need to repackage and reapply

Congratulations. In-person submission at the VAC is not permitted. You can send your passport with other required documents via the courier service of your choice. I made use of DHL, paid for a 2-way courier service and sent to VFS Lagos . I received my stamped passport after 11 days.

But what steps have you taken so far, do you send them mail every blessed day? Cos you have more thanevery right to disturb these people for a final decision on your application..

If you truly need a response from them, the start sending at least 10 mails everyday, coupled with several Webforms daily...

Remember, what you don't want, you don't watch..

I have sent over 100 mails including to the prime minister and they routed my last mail to the IRCC Minister but yet no respond .I now seek a closure cos of the uncertainty has deprived me of taking up my admission to the UK. There was a chargeback on my account a while ago, I used someone I taught I could trust, immediately I got a charge back I created an FX account and made payment after two weeks, I got a letter of procedural fairness and I already put up a strong case with documents and conversations which clears me of all wrong doing. Yes, of course. For example, chargebacks don't happen until a cardholder reports a fraudulent transaction to their financial institution and takes action to recover it.

Please note that chargeback is not only the criteria to identify a crooked agent. Beware!

But honestly, it is so unfair that one needs to be sending mails before these people attend to one's case.

I'm not sure about that. I sent a mail to them this morning, they called and acknowledged they got my mail and requested a document from me. So I guess is still working.

Depends on the context, they can scam you by not making the appropriate payment or not submitting the necessary documents .

ironically, that's the same email address I sent to and got a call. LOL.

I doubt if this is the actual reason for the refusal. He or she should apply for GCMs note to determine the exact reason for refusal. This because on this platform, we have seen people with less amount and some have not even made deposit for school fees, yet got their application approved.

If that’s the case,the money is small,yes it’s enough for the fees and living expense but you can’t use up all you have to get a degree,she needs to have that amount and a lot more to prove financial capability my opinion
