I just want to thank everyone here, am a silent reader, i just ask questions and read, I joined this platform after i submitted my application, i used an agent, afterwards i saw on this platform that people here dont really trust agents but i kept on praying that i hope he isn't fradulent, alot of things scared me i saw someone here saying that a bank statement of 15 million naira is too small for an application, i submitted a bank statement of way below 15 milliion, i started praying that eh God oo.I have travelled to the US before but forgot to declare that i have also been denied before, i didn;t know that i have to declare all these things, up till now i didn't tell them just saying this for those who might be in my situation.I even had a lump sum of 2.5 million towards the end of my soa but i kept on praying that it won't affect my app. The wait was stressful but i kept on hoping and God did it.

Please this is Just my own Input
POF = Tuition with 10,000. Your tuition is like 45000 for the whole session. Doing the calculation based on 6 semesters. Does your father have other dependent below 21 years ? Did you add landed properties and ko? Add more financial backings that can prove that 50k will be enough for both your studies and other means that can generate revenue for your dad

1) We are just 2 and I'm the last child.
2) 2year's PBD CAD18K yearly with 10K Living expense.
3) 2 Landed properties with Survey plans Added in my Father's Name.
4) Uncle Is sponsoring with 5M yearly which he already transferred 5M of the 1st year to my personal account.

So I don't know what the VO issue is ooo.

Good day my people,
Big congratulations to those that got their PPR, shared their timeline, and/or landing gist. Your stories have been motivating.
For those of us waiting for the PPR, I pray we all get the PPR and study permit in time to resume when we want to without having to defer. Amen.
I came across this thread after submitting my application last month. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best. It is a little easier to wait in a group lol.
For those that were delayed, Please request for your GCMS and re-apply. Don't give up on your dream!
I took time to read the entire part 20 and about 15 pages of part 19 lol. I invested every little spare time I had since last weekend when I saw the thread.
I decided to open an account Yesterday, and from the little knowledge I have gained via reading through the thread, I'd try as much as I can to answer questions of other newbies like me lol

@Ketima, your story came with a lot of nerve-racking suspense lol. I was tempted to cheat several times by scrolling forward to see if you have testified.

@Frankrobbn1, The Guru, the prof, the elder lol. You are rare, you think like an IRCC officer lol. Thank you so much for all your guide, advice, and for always finding time to respond to questions from the thread. I appreciate you, sir
@Lekiboboe, you're doing a great job. I am always eager to see your input
@Anon123, Thank you so much, you're doing us a great favor. I really appreciate all your input, sir.
@Lianna2020, Congrats and thank you for staying with us. I appreciate you.
@Lobinche101, so sorry for the delay, don't lose hope, you already know what to do next. Please re-fire asap
@TheGbemisola, well-done, your PPR is coming.
@viviangogos, Don't worry, your PPR is here already. God can see all the good job you're doing for others. Thank you
@RollyA, your refusal pained me. Please update us when you can. I know it will end in praise. I can feel it

Thank you to other Gurus and upcoming gurus in the house. I'm sorry but you all know I can't mention you all. May God reward you all.

ADVICE:
Please don't be stingy with Timeline, Landing gist, even rejection. Please share and share your timeline, ask for help. Even if you got your PPR already and we're not aware, please share. You have no idea how much we can learn from sharing and assisting each other.

Thank you.

If IRCC can give PPR and stamp passport without medicals, anything is possible.

And I think someone had that experience here.

is there any school I can apply too for undergraduate without IELTS/TOEFL
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Oyalfares: 4:32pm On Oct 14, 2021
Please anyone that has passed this stage or has knowledge should help me with these 2 questions, Should the ticket be return ticket and if yes what return date should be booked? Can I apply for a visiting visa based on the fact that I would like to escort my daughter who would be turning 18 years old by end of October? Or is too risky going by the fact that I have applied for study visa in 2019 and declined?

Enjay316:
3. The preconceived bias/stereotypic disposition VOs have about Nigerian applicants: In my personal opinion, I did not think this mattered in the past. However, based on recent reports, I can surmise that it now does. Whether you agree or not Nigerians do NOT have a good reputation globally. However, the media does not balance the way it reports stories about Nigerians around the world. The world gets the good, the bad and the ugly of Nigerians, which actually common to all other nationalities of the world. There are good Nigerians, and there are bad ones. There are good Canadians and very bad Canadians, there are good Indians, and very useless ones, there are good Americans and there are psycho ones too, maybe the pyscho ones are even more than the good ones, there are good Britons, and there are very lazy ones that live only on welfare etc, you get my gist. However, when the news is being reported about Nigerians, they won't report about the Doctors, Engineers, IT gurus, Professors, those in entetainment, real- estate doing great things, No. They will only report on the corrupt and bad ones, this forms a preconceived bias in the minds of the VOs. The country's govt is not helping matters, for example, Japan's study permit approval rate is about 95%, why Japanese don't even care to leave their country in the first place to go study in Canada, they have better Universities, technology, and will not have to struggle with the language, so when a VO sees a Japanese application they are delighted, and quickly approve, even if the Japanese person omits a thing or two in their application, they will mail them and ask them to bring that document, but that will NEVER happen if its a Nigerian applicant. It is unfortunate, but that is the stack reality. So, at the end of the day, it boils down to how your entire application looks to the VO. The VO would have considered all of the above, and then takes a decision whether is it worth the risk of approving the applicant's study permit or not.

So FINANCES ALONE IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO ASSESS ONE"S CHANCES OF VISA APPROVAL.

Use this guide to assess yourself. Take a decision about whether to proceed with your application. Prepare everything properly and make sure the application makes sense (Logic), then finally whatever God you call on, call on Him/Her/Them and hope they can touch the VO's heart.

hope this helps those new to this platform.

please make sure u start writing ur SOP on time.trust me u will edit and edit till u r convinced within nd look for a guru to proofread 4 u.Look out for grammatical errors too. They refused someone for just that some months ago.
