Despite all these violence, SA is far above all these African countries in terms of development and opportunities. That's why the country is a magnet for millions of Africans looking for opportunities.

Day after day as we see bible prophecies unfold before us, we continue to see why Bible is a living book and not the human ideas of a mere mortal that worms of the earth have eaten up hundreds of years ago.

Guy, we blacks over do abeg... A typical black man is just stealing and doing shts... How can u leave ur failed country and ran to another country and start causing wahala?

It is similar thing here between yorubas and igbos in south west and Lagos precisely. Even though we don't end up fighting but u will sense the hatred. People don't like it when others migrate too much into their space and start causing wahala. Most of these blacks get into SA with fake documents and expires papers unlike whites. Abeg, blacks we too get problems.
SA remains the only country in Africa with facilities that can compete at a global stage. We hope these people don't end up destroying the country.

all those good qualities should be credited to the European settlers. the day they all decide to leave SA for real, first there will be a civil war thee and then SA will be like the way other black African country it. the Black man was not created to rule over themselves.

@TMKSouth

Big ups for reporting this here my man, but what's up with your countrymen and Xenophobia? Do they prefer white people to their own black brothers? Cos I don't see or hear them doing this to white folks, just their fellow Africans all the time. No disrespect intended, just a long-term observation.

I get your point, but please, Somalians don't consider themselves as black. They see themselves as Arab.

I never knew the city's name of Port Elizabeth had been changed.
Why did the name have to be changed to what even South Africans find difficult to pronounce?

The name change happened earlier this year. It was named after a local river and it's the main language in the Eastern Cape province - Xhosa & Khoisan.

People will get used to the name like Erkurhuleni (where the Johannesburg airport is located). It's now flowing off everyone's tongue.

Personally, I support name changes - why the hell have a major city called Port Elizabeth in Africa undecided?

Exactly bro, a taxi driver pointed a gun at me few weeks ago… i was driving from sandton towards Yeovil, my GPS stopped working cos it was raining heavily as I was trying to reconnect and get back on the road the taxi driver came and insulted me, I retaliated the next I saw was a gun.. I guess he suspected I am a foreigner. I started begging oo my younger brother insulted him and he drove off.

My younger brother said you don’t beg these guys when they are not in group they are cowards

Geez, a whole gun in your face shocked

Just a word of caution though, they always rescue each other even on the road - they always have each other's back when they're attacked.

But some South Africans are having mixed feelings over this one coz taxi drivers are bullies but Somalis have also shown they pose a serious security threat to SA.

Sorry for derailing the thread guys... Pls whats the penalty for not showing up@ NySC Camp?? I'm suppose to report to camp from 20-24th of this month being part of the batchC stream 1... but m not ready due to financial constraints... So I don't know if there is anything I can do to delay for the moment
no penalty.

Just go to your student affairs office with your call up letter and they’ll guide you on how to write a letter requesting for re-mobilisation. The school will submit the letter for you and send your name for mobilisation with the next batch.

You're very very stupid for saying that rubbish

So the black man wasn't ruling himself before the Europeans came?

Do you know that Africa, even with the thousands of ethnic groups was arguably the most peaceful before your European gods came?
Have you heard of Mansa Musa?
Have you seen great Zimbabwe?

I repeat you're very very stupid for saying that angry

I will gladly take a ban for this

You will never get any like for this comment cuz you said the truth. We re always quick to call Black South Africans xenophobic but we tend to shy away from the bad things some foreign nationals do here in SA, a Zimbabwean will stab you to death just bcus of your phone, a Mozambican will shoot you to death just to hijack your car and ship it to Mozambique to sell. A Nigerian will deliberately drug a young school girl and use her for prostitution business inform of human trafficking. There re many crimes that black foreign nationals commit here that we shy away from. As we condemn xenophobia let us also condemn things that lead to these xenophobic attacks cuz me as a person, if a foreigner does any of these crimes in my community here in Nigeria, I go retarliate oo

1000% truth, I was onces mugged by a Zimbabwe, if it was not for other Nigerians who told me that he is Zimbabweans, I was going to mistake him for a South Africans. We shy away from the truth. When its Europen countries and Arab countries we are quick to accept criticism and deportation. When it's an African country we insult their citizens.

The real drug kingpins are the white dutch guys and the south Americans the blacks are mules. They are not the issue. The blacks in SA are still suffering the effects of apartheid, to get to the root cause you need to go back in time. the white settlers im a bid to subjugate the blacks there refused to allow them to do blue collar jobs because they feared that would empower them they also limited access to education because that too would empower them. In the construction of settler areas and building of infrastructures in SA they imported Asians particularly indians to do the work leaving out the native blacks, it was only their women that did blue collar works like maids and co. Nelson Mandela and co had to school outside the country to get empowered. the end result is the black man in SA has a battered psyche. I was in SA and i still discovered that they still get intimidated by the whites. They feel jealous and envious because other Africans especially Nigerians especially igbos stand up to the whites and the whites respect them and Nigerian are dogged people when they come to the country they come with nothing living in the slums with them, but in a short while they move up to highbrow areas. Also their women seem to be attracted to the hardworking Africans than them which is another source of hatred. I was in SA three years ago and i saw this first hand.

when fulanis are killing people in their communities, what happened? Didnt people retaliated in many places and gave rise to people giving them quit notice? Bro, forget long talks, no one like another foriegner come to his community or society to mess it up.

blacks can as well leave SA instead of going there to mess it up. I am not clouded by sentiments. Many black Africans do shit in SA and they keep migrating in numbers.
