Gombe is a nice town. Just keep your cool, you will enjoy the town. 140k in a place like that is good money and given the low cost of living you should be able to save some cool cash. In terms of security, you'll be surprised at the serenity of Gombe. I would rather live in gombe with its low security risk than a violent place like PH. Believe it or not, even Maiduguri city is much safer than most other cities in Nigeria- inside Maiduguri you don't feel any sense of insecurity.

With all the happening in the northern part can you really predict a forever safe in Nigeria talkless of any part of the north? In as much as the insurgency is not defeated,north will remain a no go area for me. To shock you I'm a landlord in gombe, plateau and lafia before relocating to Abuja.

Go to their village markets and buy food stuff-onion, dried pepper, melon, beans and others that will not perish fast, in bulk then waybill to major markets in the south-Lagos, Rivers, Ogun, Delta, Edo etc. When that part of the trade has been mastered then Southern foodstuff such as Garri, Palm oil, Spices, periwinkle can be bought from the south and sold in the North.

All we pray for is peace in Nigeria so our lives will run smoothly. We also pray for connections. I'll say go to Gombe, God will guide and protect you and he'll surely expand your coast. The only thing you'll be worried about is the extreme weather there but you'll survive.
