DECLAN2015:Those Igbos were not careful while working with yorubas like you. It's a known fact that Yorubas always want to pull down any igbo man ahead of him. Wicked things. |

Some of the answers have been: Nobody owns Lagos; Lagos is owned by the Yoruba; The Igbo own Lagos, The Benin Kingdom and therefore the Beni own Lagos; all Nigerians own Lagos; etc. And recently two “Lagosians” held court on the ownership of Lagos.......... .......... ......... ........ ..... ....... :........ ....Modern-day Lagos was founded by the Awori in the thirteenth century. It was later called Eko. The Portuguese explorer Ruy de Sequeira who visited the area in 1472, named the area around the city Lago de Curamo; the present name is Portuguese for "lakes". |

TooNoisy:And take it or leave it , they can't amount to anything in Nigeria without Yorubas full support. And that's far gone. There's no Yoruba man who does not see them as insanely envious and unreasonable enemies. |

Lagos is a multi ethnic State like Rivers but dominated by Yoruba from outside the State. Tinubu is not from Lagos and even Fashola so Lagos indigenes deserve commendation for allowing outsiders run their affairs devoid of ethnic leanings. |

Kreme:Igbo states are just like ekiti, ondo and other Yoruba states far from Lagos. They accommodate same way. Lagos and outskirts parts of ogun are similar and more accommodating. That’s my point. I’ve stayed in the North in my early years and they were cool then better than or same as some yourba states. |
