[quote author=DECLAN2015 post=106820232] Igbo are naturally spiteful. That is the fact. Where I worked all of them have almost been sacked not because that they are igbo but because of there irritating altitude. Brimstone77:I beg to differ, you guys started it. You blame every yoruba leaders for your own failure. You never appreciate nor respect your host. More insulting, you want to dictate what happens in Lagos. That's why the Oba of Lagos made that statement. Back in the East, tell me one state in the East allow other tribe in their government even common teaching jobs. Tell me where you can say is the colony of yorubas in the east. If you want to buy land in the east, they claim it is their ancestral land. Its not for sales. Please be sincere and judge the matter yourself. You claim Awolowo betrayed you, go check the history, its your fore father Namdi Azikiwe that betrayed Awolowo. Awolowo insisted in 1954 that any region willing to secede from Nigeria should be allowed to do so and it should be part of the constitution of Nigeria. It was Namdi Azikwe that opposed it then later seek the Alliance of the Northern against Awo. It was the same Zik that says any secessionist in Nigeria is treasonable offence against the Nigeria state as enshrined in the construction Fast forward to 1967, you guys are now seeking alliance with the same Awolowo on the same issue to support your region to secede from Nigeria. Do you think Yorubas don't think. You all came to Lagos with one cloth, bag and slippers, Lagos accommodate you. You eat lagos money, drink lagos water, marry your wife and brought her to lagos, have children, lagos gives you free education, healthcare rather than being grateful, you turn everything to abuse us. Go and think of this things. Don't bite the finger that feed you. 16 Likes |

Brimstone77:And igbos praise these other tribes I believe, right? Stop fooling yourself. Nairaland has taught me a lot about how most Igbos feel about Yorubas.. I never knew this because I related with most of them as brothers and friend being a born and bred Lagos Yoruba man until I encountered Nairaland.. Insults like Afonja, conehead and what not receive so many likes here from your likes and you expect love in return. You must be dreaming. 10 Likes |

TooNoisy: a woman who is more educated and exposed than anyone in their generation. Oga honestly you must be very senseless if you think schooling abroad and exposure makes you more educated. Then you are so clueless about education, know man or woman is a monopoly of knowledge ,you can be well knowledgeable about a particular subject but a novice on another subject matter. Ekiti State that claims to have more professors in Nigeria is still underveloped. So getting education whether here or abroad does not equate to development. Nobody hates your tribe, it's your pride and know it all that people dislike and Am Annang by tribe of Akwa Ibom. An Akwa Ibom was first CBN Governor of Nigeria with all the 5 Yoruba state combined,Our Son still beat all. Be guided. |
