Your gear fibres are baaaaad.
Your explanation says it all.
Can you do this experiment?
Try driving your car like manual.
Start with D1, then D2, D3....Check the difference!!!
if I start with D1 it works, after driving for about 2mins I’ll shift it back to D and it’ll be working and selecting fine

Any solutions to the gear fibres, can it be replaced?

nas00:

Okay.

- Dirty shift solenoids could be responsible. Remove, clean and reinstall (take care not to damage. Quite fragile). Check if it resolves the issue.
If it doesn't, start saving for a new transmission (in case this fails). Honda transmissions are so delicate that they hardly function 100% normally after internal 'repairs'.

- The jerking when you shift to reverse could mean either torn/ bad engine mounts (commoner) OR imminent transmission failure. Rule out engine mounts first.

- That ATF you used might cause catastrophic damage to your transmission down the line. Description sounds like Abro or the likes. Honda genuine ATF is the way!! I advise you drain and refill at least 3 times to get as much of the Abro as possible out of the transmission. Use ATF DW1.
ok I’ll try this too

Your car battery might be weak. Swap in a newer battery and test performance.
sure about this?

Sure!
Gear fibres are very replaceable but must be done by only a gear specialist.

Hi Boss, I had same issue. Changed ABS but sometimes the light comes up and later goes off while driving. Is there something wrong? Many thanks as you respond.

kingreign:

There's absolutely every need to urgently fix it. ABS helps to control your car during emergency braking. It does this by not allowing your wheels to lock up and cause the car to slide uncontrollably. ABS also prevent slip out or spin out of cars in slippery conditions and on corners during braking.

Without ABS functioning in your car, its like a bullet on a damage mission.

Hello gurus. I drive a 2009 honda accord. My car jerks when i try to accelerate, would have to remove my leg from the accelerator and press again before it picks.

I also hear a knocking sound when i accelerate. Maybe the filter in the oil sum is blocked or that of the transmission.

Kindly advice. Thanks
