Hello house,

A friend wants to buy a 2010 Crosstour. Nigerian used.

Is it a reliable car? How's the fuel consumption? Is it a car that a bachelor earning 500k+ can easily maintain?
yes,its a reliable cat,its is not fuel economical.yes your friend can maintain it with his salary.Even people that earn less maintain it.

Hello house,

Please I need an urgent advice on my 2006 Civic. After changing of front absorber, ball joints and linkages, there is this glanging sound and I have had the leg checked again nothing was discovered, please what can I possibly look out for to correct this. (Sound like an iron fell on each other). Ur kind advise

Check adjuster/pulley, makes noise like there is problem in the leg or in the engine if bad, you might not know until you try with a replacement.

Hello house

I scanned my 2007 Honda Accord today and the following codes got pulled

P2185
P0335
P0141
P1157
P2163
13-01
71-01

I was told I'll replace Engine coolant temperature sensor, Crankshaft position sensor, both oxygen sensors, ABS and Electronic Steering Sensors.

Where are you located?

I have the shift solenoid.

Does the car move when you shift to reverse?

Or it just behaves as if in neutral, regardless of the gear you shift to??

Thanks for your feedback. The vehicle behaves as if it's on neutral regardless of the gear sir.

I reside around alapere estate, Lagos

Hmm.... That is not a good sign. If your transmission fluid level is not very low or very dirty, my bet is on a transmission failure (very likely the case here).

I am not in Lagos. Being in Lagos, you can easily get the solenoid from Luvinghubby at Oyingbo, but have it at the back of your mind that if the solenoid doesn't make a difference, you have to replace the entire transmission.

In fact, instead of buying the shift solenoid, have your mecho carefully remove yours, flush it thoroughly and reinstall. Confirm that all electrical connectors to the transmission are properly fitted and see if transmission behaves. If it doesn't, replace entire gearbox (ask Luvinghubby).

Good luck.

Got mine from aliexpress for 40k for just a pair(you might want to do 2 pairs) ..did installation myself.

But it's 60k plus on jumia (global shipping) meaning they buy from overseas when you order.

I have a problem with my honda accord 2003 transmission. When engaged in drive, the D light blinks on the dashboard. Immediately the oil was changed from the brownish one in it to a dw1 oil with red cap. The problem still persists with vehicle not even moving forward nor backward. Vehicle was then scanned and returned P0756 as result (Shift Solenoid B performance stuck off). The issue at hand now is I need a reliable seller of the Solenoid and possibly the person that can fix it trusted by the seller. If you have any contribution towards my issue please share

if you are in Ibadan I can give you a shiftsolenoid to test .

You aren't buying a new head lamp.

It's a projector light you are buying.

What you got in your car is a reflector light so even if you buy led bulbs don't expect much or any improvement.

Projector light is just like touchlight. It got a better focus point as regards to distance.

You can Google this car projector light vs reflector light.

Reflector is a cheaper option for manufacturers why projector which is way better had always come with luxury cars in the early times.
