Arabiandude:Yeah but they sent him there to develop. Even Ibrahimovic and his coaches and the management of hammarby know that. He is their Cash cow. They plan to sell him to a bigger club in one or two years time. The plan is to develop him into a world class player and sell him and it is working. Ibrahimovic likes him a lot. And like I said before he is actually a false 9 by default and most false 9 can play attacy midfield. Think of firmini, Messi totti etc |

AndSunGorilla:Good... after they are big and constant UCL regulars in 3 years, they can come for Osimhen. Not now. ![]() Man City's squad quality moved and grew very fast after the 2008 takeover by Sheikh Mansour but didn't get Aguero until 2011. That was 3 years... so Newcastle can wait for their own 3 years. ![]()

Na wa for you Do you know how much I rate Fati? He would be in the convo without question if he were a centre forward. As for Greenwood, abeg abeg... that guy be like the English Politano. His own is to cut in and shoot and his shooting is top notch no doubt. But apart from that, dude is no game changer like Fati so they both should not be in same sentence. And Alexander Isak is really good. I rate him but when talking top 3 Strikers of the new generation already making their marks then you would understand why Isak is not in that conversation. He will be one of the names on the lips of fans for the next decade no doubt but Haaland, Mbappe and Osimhen lead the way strongly and their overall attributes make their case far stronger compared to the others. andrewbaba44: |

Rohr coached a lot of teams o, Bordeaux, Nantes, Etoile Sahel, young boys of Switzerland, Gabon, Niger etc but truth be told the man apart from his Bordeaux stint just dey go lower men and he dey chop sack like kilode until he won loser's final with the SE. TheSuperNerd:Xavi was a pure old fashioned deep lying playmaker and Central Midfilder aka traditional 10. In xavi class, we have the likes of Zidane, rui costa, Riquime, Modric I think people are mistaken creative midfilders or forwards with an old fashioned 10. Super eagles are searching for a deep lying playmaker traditional 10 that can control the course of a game. Please, it is not any good dribbler that you will label as a pure traditional 10 aka xavi, zidane, modric, riquime. You guys are mistaken attacking midfilders like rivaldo, ozil as a 10 |

The kinda rubbish i read here on a daily is nauseating. Osimhen, Haaland and Mbappe are the 3 leading Strikers of the new generation? . So Isak and Lauro Martinez are pornstars right? The buttlicker called Andrew is always quick to nod his head like an agama lizard that he is. This thread lass lass na cruise. ![]() |

I say again, Alexander Isak is a World Class talent. He is really really good and I am well aware of his La Liga and Sociedad career numbers last season and from beyond it. He is my number 5 for top young Strikers today in world football. Martinez is my number 4. Then ofcos you know my Top 3 which is also reflective of the words making the rounds around Europe today. So the Top 3 is not just my opinion but is actually factual today. Others may yet rise because time is a funny thing but Haaland is already dragging Best CF in the Bundesliga with Lewy but for me he is already the most clinical striker in Germany and possibly even in Europe. Note the word, "Clinical". Lewy may still be the best CF overall in Germany but he ain't as Clinical as Haaland is. In Serie A, Osimhen is already generally accepted as not just the best striker in the league but even the best player so far this season. This is a league that still has Lautaro Martinez of Inter and Immobile of Lazio. In Ligue 1, we all know Mbappe is King. I need not talk much on him here. So you see why the case for these 3 as the leading faces of the striker dept for the new generation is mad-ass strong? Now if we enter their individual attributes in the role using eye test and their numbers but most especially eye test, it becomes even scarier seeing how clear they are of the others. Isak is up there when we talking World Class talents in the #9 role but those 3 are just a whole level of different and unique. And yes naa.... Greenwood is rightly the English Politano. Watch him more and compare with Politano and you will see the similarities in their game. Cut-in-and-shoot-merchants. ![]() andrewbaba44: |

Zidane was a CAM. Xavi was a CM and Deeplying playmaker. Big difference. But understand something. Both were Playmakers. Both could dictate plays but they both did it in different areas of the pitch. And deep lying Playmakers are not #10s. They are holding Midfielders who specialise in ball playing skills like passing and conducting a team's plays rather than being overburdened with defensive tasks like tackling. They do contribute to Defensive acts too when necessary but they primary role is to control a team's rhythm in the middle game. They are different from the ball winning kind of Midfielders who also sit deep - The tough tackling CDMs. In the time of Pep ad Barca coach in that glorious Barca era post-2006, Xavi Played the role of Midfield dictator in the capacity of a CM. Busquets was the team DM who was also adept at ball playing and did his job defensively. And #10s normally refer to a team's Playmaker or star attacking midfielder. And the Likes of Pele, Maradona and Johannes Cruyff are great examples of what fantastic #10s. Sometimes an attacking midfielder is mistaken for a trequartista even though Both roles are similar in certain aspects. So dribbling is not what decides who a number 10 is even though these guys who played the role were also very accomplished dribblers. I mean, Zidane, Pele (also termed a trequartista), Maradona, Platini and Cruyff. 12large1: |

.... who has since adapted into his new role as a RW. Was gonna be picked as a RW for the Euros as well if not for Injury. So you see... I know he came in as a CF as first but he has since adapted to the RW. Just like Mbappe is a CF who also functions as an inside forward either from the left or right. Azurevermillion: |

12large1:I'm with u on this one. In addition, Central midfielders can also play the no.10 role. Attacking midfielders can also play no.10 role. The no no.10 role r usually played by playmakers vis vasa. What the super eagles need right now is a playmaker, whether is deep lying playmaker or normal playmaker |

TheSuperNerd:Zidane was the both. Sometimes, he can play as a pure CM aka deep lying playmaker, while sometimes, he can be pushed forward as an AM. The both players were capable of dictating and controlling the course of a game and this is the type of playmaker that SE is lacking. We’re looking for a playmaker that can dictate, control the course of a game |
