Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on this year’s commemoration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, calling on all Nigerians to renew their faith in God and intensify prayers for the country to surmount its challenges.

In his goodwill message, Gov. Ugwuanyi urged Muslims and indeed all Nigerians to remain committed to the core values of the nation’s founding fathers so that the concerted efforts at sustaining the peace, unity and progress of the country will be fully actualized.

The governor pointed out that the significance of Eid-ul-Mawlid anchored on love, sacrifice, obedience, tolerance and charity, as exemplified by the deeds and teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad, is germane to the peaceful co-existence, unity and prosperity of Nigeria.

Gov. Ugwuanyi therefore wished all Nigerians a peaceful celebration as well as the guidance and blessings of the Almighty God.

This Dullard of a Governor. If only Nigerians will face their Governors the way they face FG, our states will be better. These Governors are our problem. This fool asking for prayers have turned Enugu to a shithole. No Infrastructure, no attractions of investors, insecurity, etc. All Ugwuanyi does is grab any land available and share with his cronies, use state funds to turn the lands to Estates meanwhile the roads leading to those estates are death traps then he moves already established Govt. Institutions schools etc to his village or he builds an Annex in his village, then share the state fund to anyone that sponsors a billboard with his image or a radio or TV ads. Use state fund to organize rallies in his honor. Go to burials/wedding and events to eat Eba with ogbono soup
