You can’t possibly cook rice and beef/fish stew at the same time using that pot. Rice will get done before the stew, then you’ll either let it burn or scoop it out and continue with the stew…waste of space and energy then….except there’s a way to detach the other part.

There will be conflict of aroma , when you cover it. Imagine cooking soup and beans. Soup will have the taste of beans.

Like it or not, this pot you called a contraption will be bought, used and adapted by people who don't mind the rigors of bailing off the content from one portion and distributing the content of the other evenly to create uniform weight. There are also foods like soup and stew that measure up in terms of time for cooking. Anyone will look at the pot and see if it offers them any advantage over its disadvantage. And if it does, he will adapt it to his task. Why couldn't you even think with your so called advanced brain that these guys selling indomie, tea and so will easily find this pot useful?

If yam takes 5 minutes to cook and stew takes 10 minutes. A person cooking yam and stew with a regular pot would have cooked for 15minutes. While a person cooking with this pot will cook for 10 minutes. Only that in 5minutes, he would need to evacuate the yam and fill that portion with water to balance the weight. Your eyes and brain just don't work to see anything positive that's why you cannot make a simple evaluation like this.

You should not come up the internet insulting graduates while you yourself have never proffered even the most lame solution to anything. Even very perfect inventions are still open to criticisms and observations and the inventor will not go to rest until he improves on what he has made to address new concerns. Your concern so far has been in cooking two foods at the same time. You could have made that observation without sounding like an arrogant, uncultured person.

you should read what I posted again without all the self righteousness and tell yourself and others the truth. It's not about reinventing the wheel in a non practical way just for the sake of it. I have challenged people to actually think,and actually solve simple problems of time required and temperature needed to cook meals. while you are seeking to reinforce their ignorance just to sound perfect and the awful thing about this is You probably know better.

I'm going to get 2 of these: a deep skillet with one divider, and a fryer divided into multiple spaces. It's good for when you want to make a little stew or something and some rice/veg. The multiple compartments is good when you want to make a bunch of little things for breakfast. It's actually a really good idea for making breakfast for like 1 or 2 people.
