Now that Rodgers has reverted to playing two strikers up front, we should expect Leicester to score more and also concede more.. Just like the 2013/2014 Rodger's Liverpool team .

@GoodJoe, please tell Emma to apply for the vacancy at Newcastle o. The Arabs sure like tiki taka and 2 of the three tactical LaMasia masters are unavailable, that is, Pep and Enrique. That leaves only Emma, so why not him, what do you think about his chances of clinching the job?

Absolutely, brought in players who were relatively unknown but now so good, Kante, Mahrez, Ndidi, Maguire, vardy, soyuncu, Ndidi, Daka, Barnes, maddison, Soumare. Except in a few cases, they are almost always on point.

MetalJigsaw:
Rohr Has Nothing Upstairs, Super Eagles Senior Players Discuss It In Camp - AFCON Winner Igiebor Reveals
Owngoalnigeria

Former Nigeria international midfielder Nosa Igiebor says the present coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr don’t have what it takes to tinker the Super Eagles to glory.

Igiebor who was in the team when Rohr took over as coach had a fall out with the coach, which led to his axing from the team shortly after their 2-1 win over Zambia in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

He claimed the present team is currently doing well in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers due to the individual abilities of the players and not due to the tactics of the German coach.

“I want to first of all appreciate the NFF for what they ar doing for the Super Eagles but this Coach, I don’t think is capable to take us to where we are going and that’s the truth”, Igiebor told Brila FM Abuja in an interview monitored by OwnGoalNigeria.com editorial team.

“What has he done? What can he do? He has done nothing. Listen let me tell you why we win games, we win games because these guys like I say to you these boys are good but I’m talking about the big stage where experience is needed”, he said.

Speaking further the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winners with Nigeria said the senior players in the team fell out with the coach due to his poor training methods and tactics including ex Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel. He claimed even the lineup isn’t handled by the coach.

“The boys are winning games for him. Infact he doesn’t have any tactics or whatsoever. Don’t forget I was with him also, I was with this coach because we had this argument and I told him to get out and I left. He has nothing upstairs. He has nothing I can tell you. Even when we were in camp everybody quarreled with him.

“Mikel , I can tell you we were discussing. This guy has nothing. Is like Grant coaching one amateur team. He has nothing. I don’t know why they are keeping him there maybe because of one politics or another. This guy can not take Nigeria anywhere. I’m telling you the truth.

“We are winning games is not because the coach is good or any tactics, it’s because individually these guys are good that is why we are winning games . This coach will be exposed very soon when it comes to some kind of big games. He has nothing to offer to Nigeria. He is there because of the politics and what they are doing themselves. We can’t go anywhere meaningful with him.

“Even the lineup they make it for him”.

Shut up ya mouth. We had 2 local coaches before him that committed a football abomination and if Rohr has nothing, I feel sorry for our local coaches

Perhaps so.. But Rodgers generally isn't the type of coach that set up his team to be good defensively...

Meanwhile, have you seen the clip of Nwora block on KD? grin .. The guy is definitely gonna get more minutes this season, and I'm tipping him to shine very brightly...

Victor Moses must return back to super eagles. Every country has its best and most experienced players, playing for their country and ours shouldn’t be any different

Yes sir he stuffed it at the basket and it was after KD crossed up Giannis so it was kind of a cool moment were the little brother has big bros back.

That is what will give him more playing time this season. He has really improved defensively

"Messi is not a penalty freak, he helps his teammates bond better on the pitch. My regard for Messi trippled the season he worked for Suarez to make him win pichichi in laliga. The old fraud would rather die than see any of his teammate win the highest goal scorer award ahead of him."

See comment made by someone in front page. I don't understand what he said at the end lipsrsealed

What we lost in Moses we have in Anthony nwakaeme but Rohr is seriously blind and a lot of people in this forum don't rate him. It's quite funny

So Haaland is younger than Osimhen which means both will continue to improve Victor has an almost impossible task to surpassed him
I disagree on this, C. Ronaldo improve massively later on in his career than Messi.

Don't attack what you think. Attack the points raised. You are arguing because you think we are trying to say. Like that does not add up.

Just deal with the points.
I have not seen any person saying Haaland is better all round than Osimhen, The point those on the divide are saying is simple Haaland is better than Osimhen. Leave all round play alone, who is better.
It is like saying Milner is greater than Xavi because Milner is an all round player.

I don't know why some people are scared of taking that leap,I don't know why many are afraid of moving away and moving forward from a spent Gernot Rohr.

I am afraid to say this, if Rohr doesn't go, we should as well bid 2022 world cup bye bye. Remember the qualification format defers this time.

I remember 2years back telling people not to be carried away by the results he was churning out (those slim and unconvincing victories). But Nigerians were more interested in the immediate results rather than a long term overall progress of the team.

His team peaked and got stunted. If care is not taken we'll end up having another generation of talented underachievers. Remember the average age of our players is 24. It will be 26 in 2years time and we don't look ready to get the best out of them.

It is either the Man Rohr is made a chief scout or relieve of his duty
here is a post I made sometime last year. we can as well wait 2 more years and allow this man do the final damage.
