from Ginger Bread till Lollipop i used Chain fire...but after that i think Nougat or Oreo Samsung had something in Developer Option that when triggered blows up stuffs like Knox, Secure Folder, Samsung Health and Samsung Pay..then i used magisk and some other app(kinda tricky but then)...but then after rooting its best to use a different ROM so as not to get your device malfunctioning..then side-load mini Gapps....What android OS are you on?

Meanwhile, you seem to knw much about tech. Do you knw of a reliable way to root?
I've tried rooting using magisk before but soft bricked my device. I read many tutorials on Xda forum so im positive I made no mistake.
Also, I tried installing TWRP but was shocked to see that they were not available for infinix phones yet. Embarrassing

You bought cheap phone expecting a good performance, like I said I still use a tecno camon x I bought in 2018 September 3 more than three years after is still serving me well and has never hanged or given me issues infact am planning buying another tecno phone my budget is 80 to 90k, or even more than even if it means waiting for 4 months more to get it because if I eventually get this one na the next 5 to 6 years I go change the phone except business purposes made me change it, my point with all these story is buy what is worth it, enjoy it, there are good tecno phones out there.

Some other phones like Samsung have some of what you wrote here. I bought a Samsung phone A80 for almost 200k in 2019, only to discover last month that it's a 3G phone. By the way, the Samsung battery was terrible compared to Transion phones of five years ago. No wonder my glo don't work well with it. A 2016 average transion phone has 4G. So, if you don't look well, you'll be cool with your high end phone, not knowing the obvious disadvantages. I sold it and bought a tecno phone camon 17 pro within a week of discovery for less than the price of the Samsung. My conclusion, if you are not buying the highest Samsung like 5G S21 currently going for about 580k, you are going to get inferior things in the lower versions. Let's talk about chargers, in two years, I bought about three original samsung chargers and three fake ones. For my tecno, I Don't buy even one charger. This i have seen over time.
