Oh!.....don't be sad, I know someone that stopped talking before the 2minutes and still ended up with band 7
What questions were asked in the speaking test?

Please, I Just missed my ielts exams due to heavy traffic. My speaking exam Is tomorrow, should I still go for the speaking exam? Please what should I do? I urgently need help

Hi everyone, please am new here and would love to take the IELTS test by October 30th, yet to book but I should book tomorrow by God’s Grace. Which do you recommend I sit for IDP or BC? Considering I would be taking the test in Ibadan. Which has more leniency when it comes to marking and has faster test results. Please help with study materials for IELTS General training as I can’t risk not acing this test at once for financial reasons. Please help a sister out. Thanks

Write a letter to them for postponement of your exam date though you have to give a valid reason, a reason better than heavy traffic. I also missed my ielts exam about 4 months ago and on the morning of the exam ( before 6am though) I sent them an email applying for postponement due to security issues in my area. The following Monday I got a response from them asking me to choose a new date and pay 25% of the ielts fee and re- apply. Check their website to find out the right email for issues relating to postponement of exam date or refund of ielts fee. You can still go for the speaking test but just know that if they respond favourably to your postponement letter and you apply for a new date, you will re-take the speaking test.

Thank you. I have done that and I was sent a transfer exam link to choose a date and upload a document why I missed the exam.

[To the glory of God I did
had less than a week to practice. I practiced with Ieltsliz on YouTube and E2 on YouTube also
Meanwhile I had a 6.5 in my writing cos I only indented my paragraph in task 1
and didn't indent at all in task 2. You are supposed to leave a line after each paragraph and make sure every paragraph entails a logical point, solution or example. You have 25% for cohesion and coherence so that's a very vital aspect you need to be !mindful of. It's very achievable. Just know the tips and tricks. For my listening I was a bit skeptical cos my attention span is quite small and I even zoned out they day. If this happens, just keep answering the questions you can find when you snap back and ignore the ones you missed. I got a 7.0 in listening and 7.5 in speaking, and 7.0 in reading. I think I ought to get more than that in my reading but who knows? And I did UKVI GT so the score for reading band 7 is around 34-35 out of 40 which is a good try! 7.0 overall and it's a wrap Mostly importantly Pray.
