Good day everyone,

Assuming one is planning on spending 2 weeks in France, would it be okay to make a reservation for an accommodation for just 3 days for the visa application with the mindset that one could change accommodation upon discovering other better deals after getting the visa? Or must one book for the whole 2 weeks and use the booking to apply for the visa? Any suggestion please!

Yes, you are very correct. If my memory serves me well, I think it's about 120 Euros per day. However, I don't know if this amount is for an individual or a group (assuming it's a family trip for instance). Any information on that?

I would say 120 for the adults in the group and maybe 60 for the kids. If accommodation is already prepaid then it should be way less.

Currently awaiting to board my flight at CDG Paris back to Nigeria. I suppose to come back yesterday but I was ask to get a PCR test a must before I board and because of that my flight was rescheduled today, I thought I don’t need it as it wasn’t required when I was coming here as I’m fully vaccinated, they said is Nigeria government policy not theirs. For those who are planning to return do your PCR test before you miss your flight. But according to what I hard by Monday 1st November Nigeria will stop requesting for it on arrival passengers

Book for the proposed 2 weeks with a pay at property option.

When you get there you decide what to do.

When coming back to Naija, The test is 50 euros and its done at the Sheraton at that airport, terminal 2e, cerballiance is the name of the lab...

Do your pcr, fill a form on the travel portal online n upload it,then make arrangements for day 7 test back home, then you are given a permit to fly...

But before leaving nigeria, Google the government labs approved for the tests online.

Good morning to everyone in the house. So, I'm putting finishing touches on my family's visa application as we are to submit next week. However, I want to know if my documents' arrangements are in order. They are stated below:

1. Myself:

Visa application form
Bank statements (business and personal)
Receipts and invoices from my business
Property documents (solely in my name)
Itinerary and hotel reservation
Booked tours (from viator.com)
A letter of introduction for myself
Previous U.S and Schengen visas
Family pictures
Kids' birth certificates

2. My partner:

Visa application form
Bank statements (salary and monthly stipend (from me) account for family upkeep)
Pay slips
Property documents (solely in my name)
Itinerary and hotel reservation
Booked tours (from viator.com)
A letter of introduction for her self
Letter from her employer
Employment and promotion letters
Affidavit for change of name and newspaper publication
A letter of introduction from me confirming that I will be the one financing the trip 100%
My bank statements (business and personal) since I am the one sponsoring the trip
My previous U.S and Schengen visas
Family pictures
Kids' birth certificates

3. The kids:

Visa application forms
Itinerary and hotel reservation
Booked tours (from viator.com)
Letters from their schools
Their birth certificates
My previous U.S and Schengen visas

I want to know if we also have to write a letter of introduction for each of the kids separately and also include bank statements in each of their applications/file or if there are any other documents we should add or remove from the list above. Your contributions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the input Sir/Ma. However, are we to submit a cover letter and activity itinerary for each and every member of the family or for only the adults? I suppose we are submitting different applications, albeit simultaneously or will all the documents be submitted as a whole at VFS?

Good afternoon everyone and happy Sunday. I booked an accommodation for only 3 days and I have already filled in the name and address of the place on the visa form online. I was subsequently advised to book for the entire duration of the stay in France before submitting the application. The challenge now is that I am unable to extend the booking period. Should I cancel it and book another one despite having filled something different on the already-submitted visa application form online or should I address this in the cover letter? Please advise on how to go about this. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello, you can fill another form. There is always a reference number on each form, so its the form you submit on the day of appointment that will be used.

Hello everything,
Kindly help with this issue of POF.

I have enough money in my dollar account but it has only been there for two weeks, though I have a proof of salary coming into that account for the past 3 months. Also I have a letter of introduction from my employee verifying that I earn what comes into my dollar account.

Do I need to wait for that one to be there for a month before going to the embassy or it’s ok already like that?

Thanks guys.

Edit: it’s for MSc Programme. I have fully paid my school fees.

Hello everyone. Are electronically-generated bank statements from mobile apps and printed at a cafe acceptable for France visa applications or must it be taken to the bank for stamping and signing to give it much weight?
