Hi everyone, Can I cancel and/or reschedule an appointment after it has been made? If yes, how long must I wait after the initial booking before I can do so I seem to be having issues with the system as it gave another date to one of my kids and I am the principal applicant here. Please advise. OsiEnterprise4: |

Hi everyone, I made an hotel reservation using booking.com and I was sent a booking confirmation. A few hours later I got a message that my card could not be processed by the hotel and that I should add another card. I added 50k extra to the account linked with the card and tried it again and I still got the message after a few hours. Can I still use this particular hotel reservation for my visa application or would there be a problem? If its not a good idea, can anyone here provide help me with a better alternative? Thanks in anticipation. |

Good evening everyone. I have a very serious challenge and I want the gurus in the house to help me out on this. So, I intend to apply for a visitor's visa for my family and I. I am a frequent traveler while they are not but VFS have confirmed to me that I can cover for them since we are traveling together, provided we book a group appointment which has already been taken care of. Now here is the thing: fact of the matter is that I do not really need a schengen visa as I have a residence permit in Germany being a graduate student. However, my family can not apply for the visa since they do not qualify for the frequent traveler status, hence the need for me to apply alongside. Here is my question, should I apply with them as a normal visitor without disclosing the details of my residence in Germany, would the French embassy find out that I already possess a residence permit in Germany? Secondly, if I wont be applying for a visa, how can I ensure my family submit their visa applications as first timers at VFS considering the fact that we did a family booking with me being the principal applicant? Any contribution(s) and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am also open to criticisms as well. Thanks in anticipation. |

in my own opinion i will say you should apply as family going for a family trip and also declare your resident permit too, but you need to write a good cover letter explaining all this why you taking them to france. best of Luck esdajo: |

Nchabuomo: Hello, What was your statement balance? |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nchabuomo: 7:52am On Oct 28, 2021 |
msbaileyz: Enough to fund my trip and have some money left. I think the EU recommends you have a specific amount for each day on the trip. More important to show though is cash flow. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by esdajo: 9:35am On Oct 28, 2021 |
Yes, you are very correct. If my memory serves me well, I think it's about 120 Euros per day. However, I don't know if this amount is for an individual or a group (assuming it's a family trip for instance). Any information on that? Nchabuomo: |
