Yes they read and don’t reply try Facebook marketplace or Craigslist or if your school has a mobile app they may have a feature for housing.

@Grazat2021, your recalcitrance was obviously inordinate and a stark display of vulgarity in the first place. The least I had expected from you was a total acquiescence to what most members of this forum had expected from you, regardless of whatever. This is because people's timelines enrich this platform with invaluable pieces of information that act as a torchlight on the paths of newbies whose hallowed journeys to the Maple Land have just begun. Bro my passport was to expire in 2023 , after my ppr letter I did passport renewal(paid express) here in Abuja and it came out in 72hrs(64 pages because of 32pages scarcity). I submitted the new passport and it was stamped and return with no question asked about my previous passport coz it still have 2years left .

Bro, please can I contact you privately. I would like to get the contact of the immigration officer that helped you renew your passport in Abuja. My cousin PPR is out but his passport will expire next year. He want to get a renewal before sending the passport for stamping. I have already send you a Pm. Thank you and God bless

You don't need to apply for her. She is allowed to enter Canada with just her US passport, even ETA is not required.

I will advice you not to withdraw the admission, if only you can explain the reason you choose to study diploma you are good to go..
Before I joined Nairaland I have secured admission a Diploma program so when I saw some comments on study progression I was scared I maybe denied Visa because I have Bachelor of Engineering and I got admission to study Power Engineering Diploma.
But finally I was granted visa..

If you are sure u can secure another admission so fast, you can go ahead with getting admission, but if I were in your shoes I would chanel my energy on SOP.
The funny thing is that I didn't explain much on my SOP, because it was just 1 page... meaning it was just front page and less than half back page, and my friend was like I should have written it up to 4 pages and I told him I don't know what else to write because then I have not started visiting this forum..
Read my PPR timeline

mizzpinkie:
Hi Everyone,

I applied to NSCC for a diploma in Business Administration, although I have had a study gap for 11 years due to work. I have a Bachelors degree in Economics with a 2:2, I have already paid a deposit of CAD1,000 to save my seat for September 2021 program but deferred to January 2022. I want to know if it's ok to go ahead with the SP application and I just saw on the platform that I should have filled out the IRCC Webform stating my deferment.

Is it best to withdraw and look for a PGD program or do I still have a chance to continue the application process as I have committed financially?

I will appreciate an honest response

Thanks in advance

1. Try sending email to the school to confirm its authenticity or speak a student advisor
2. Form A, try UBA it should 5 days max
3. The timeline for visa application is short defer to next available intake, then ask this question again and read the thread from page 1

good day everyone.
I keep having problem with my application, I withdrew my application and I was refunded then i submitted it again, which showed successful, till today I havent gotten confirmation message, I don't know what ircc is doing again. now they are telling me I don't have an open application till my application is open I will get a message, don't know this new style again

If I may ask, you mean IRCC refunded you after the withdrawal of your application?

Me personally withdrew my application around march but they didn't refund the money but I re-applied again around June and I was approved by October.

Please I need your contribution on this matter.
The surname on all my credentials (WAEC, degree, NIN, international passport etc) is Tunji, but I don’t want my children to bear Tunji but Olatunji. My children now have Olatunji as there surname on there birth certificates and NIN. I have done affidavit in court to claim that I am the same person having surname as Tunji and Olatunji. So my questions are, is this acceptable legally and will there be any problem at the airport when traveling abroad with the children. Or any future implications for me and the children.

feistymikey:
When applying again for the second time, do you submit a separate SOP and a separate “Letter of explanation “ or just one as the letter of explanation?

If purpose of visit was among the generic refusal ground highlighted by the visa officer. You don't need to provide a seperate SOP in your application. Purpose of visit has to do with your reason for wanting to undertake the program in Canada, the reasonableness and lucrativeness of the program as well as how the program will substantially benefit your future career goals and prospects in Nigeria after studies in Canada.

It will end in praise

Is because you added her as part of accompanying dependents if you only added yourself it won't ask you to pay...I only apply for myself leaving out my US daughter cos she doesn't need Visa to enter .
